I apologise again for the delay. I think that I've gotten over my writer's block a bit, but I don't know when the next chapter will come out.

Trigger warning: there will be gore in this and the next chapter. If you guys are uncomfortable with that, I apologise.

The new Facility was different from the one on the island. It was above ground this time. It was around about the same size as the one before it. It was pure white, not that easy to hide from anything anywhere on the ground or sky. It was located at least ten miles away from the train tracks. Where it was located was so obvious that even a blind man could see it. It was located right in the middle of a town. Under normal circumstances it would be suspicious. You know, people in the town asking why there was a robot guarding the front entrance. The only problem was that the town looked like it had been deserted for a very long time. The only sign of anyone living there was the brand new building.

"I can't see any other entrances. I'm afraid that door is the only way that we're getting in and out." Shuichi sighs as his eyes turned back to normal. The small group of four were hidden behind a building across the street from the Facility. They at first wanted to try to sneak in without triggering any alarms. However, as Shuichi just said, the door that is being guarded is the only way that they can get in. They'll need to try to think smart about this.

"I might be able to get everyone out." Keebo spoke up. As Maki glared at 5s building, Shuichi and Himiko turned to the robot. "I just need to get to a room just like the one where you've first found me in. Shuichi, I might need your help with that."

"Okay, but what about the guards? I could probably sneak past them, but-" Himiko asked, suddenly getting a little concerned about how they can get in without getting captured.

"I can deal with the guards. The rest of you focus on getting everyone else out." Maki hissed, suddenly stepping out from their hiding place. She started to walk closer to the Exisal, much to everyone else's horror. It was like she wasn't thinking straight.

"Maki! Wait!" Shuichi hissed. He reached out to grab her, but it was already too late. Maki walked steadily towards the Exisal. The way that she was walking was so calm and so natural, that it was almost disturbing. The Exisal suddenly spotted her. It looked like it was ready to attack and grab her. Maki was faster. The second the robot had spotted her, it was suddenly crushed into a perfect ball. The ball was launched into the doors, pretty much making it seem that they were never there in the first place. Shouts and alarms were blearing out as Maki disappeared into the building. Shuichi, Himiko and Keebo waited for about a minute, hearing faint screaming the further Maki ventured inside. Once they felt like it was safe, they approached the now destroyed doors. Shuichi and Himiko almost felt sick as they saw the scene before them. The corridor in front of them was decorated with blood and torn body parts from the guards. The first time they had seen Maki kill the guards, she crushed their brains. It seemed like child's play as to what they were seeing right now. It was like something had snapped inside Maki. And it was quite terrifying.

"We have to hurry." Keebo announced. He didn't seem to show it, but he seems quite disturbed as well. Shuichi settled his stomach as best he could. His eyes turned a silvery grey as he peered into the building. He ignored Maki's rampage as best he could. He focused only on finding the computer terminal that controls everything in the Facility. He keeps focused until there is an area that he couldn't look into. That was it.

"Found it! Himiko, are you going to be okay on your own?" He asked, looking down at the small girl. She had gone deathly pale, but seemed to be doing her best not to be sick or faint.

"I'll use my magic to find the others. And ignore the blood." Himiko said, sounding more confident than she normally does. She fades from view, the sound of her footsteps vanishing as she runs to find everyone. Shuichi followed her example, doing his best not to slip on the blood. Keebo followed him. They were going in the opposite direction to where Maki had run to. The guards were too occupied with trying to contain her than to worry about them. They were able to find the computer terminal. There was only one guard in there trying to direct everyone to Maki to stop her. Keebo didn't hesitate in grabbing the guard and knocking him out. The second he did, Shuichi locked the door and joined Keebo as he contested himself to the computer.

"I've found the others!" Keebo shouts, pointing at the screen. Shuichi looked at the camera feed from the cells. He felt his stomach churn as he saw everyone's injuries. "I can unlock the doors, Himiko will have to get them out." Shuichi didn't pay that much attention. He was busy counting everyone to make sure that they were all there.

"Wait! Where's Kaito?" He asked, noticing that Kaito was the only one that was missing. He scanned the screen carefully, trying his best to find his missing friend. When he did, he felt a horrifying chill run through his body. "Oh no..."

The guards ran past Himiko as she stayed close to the walls. They were too busy trying to get to the telekinetic girl to realise that the cells were unguarded, or that someone was trying to get to the other Limitless. Himiko felt thankful that she didn't have to look at the bloody scenery anymore. Trying to shake off what she had seen she focused on only finding where the others were. The building was laid out differently from the first Facility, but only slightly. There weren't any bedrooms for the Limitless, or a cafeteria and Lounge Area. Other than that, what with the covered windows blocking out the outside world, it gave Himiko a horrible feeling of deja vu. That feeling was washed away as she finally found the others. The second they saw her, almost all of them leapt at the glass to make sure that what they were seeing was real.

"Himiko! You came!" Tenko cheered, looking like she was about to cry.

"Let's get you all out of here!" Himiko shouted as a loud buzz filled the air. The doors opened up. Rantaro set to work, rapidly healing everyone as quick as he could. The second one was healed, they started to make their way towards Himiko. She rapidly tells them how to get out, which way they need to go and warns them about what was going on. One by one, they all evacuate the cells, with Angie having to be led by Tenko and Ryoma limping a little as he got back to his currently unsteady feet. Himiko looked to see Rantaro currently healing Gonta. Rantaro gave a quick hand gesture, telling the red haired girl to go on ahead. Himiko hesitated, but did so. She wanted to make sure that everyone else got out alright.

"Gonta! Come with me to the lab! I've got a bad feeling that I might need help carrying Kaito out of there!" Rantaro ordered as soon as Gonta was healed. The giant nodded silently, getting the same feeling as Rantaro.

The guard whimpered as he was off of the ground. The smell and sight of blood splattering the walls and floor was enough to nearly make him throw up. Especially with the sight of the numerous bodies being ripped to pieces as though they were paper dolls. It wasn't just the sight of the dead that made him scared however. It was the sight of Maki. Her face was as dark as thunder as her body was eerily calm and still. She only asked each guard one question. All of them gave her the wrong answer which resulted her in tearing them apart effortlessly.

"I will not ask again! Where is White?!" Maki demanded, her eyes shining as though they were on fire.

"I-i-in the lab! He's doing an experiment on the flying kid!" The guard whimpered. He wanted to get away from this Limitless. He didn't want to die. Unfortunately, he didn't get his wish. Maki glared harshly at the guard. There was a sudden, sickening sound of a bone snapping as she broke the guard's neck. A quick and painless punishment best suited for him, unlike the others that didn't answer her question. Maki stalked past the body. She kept only one location in mind. The lab. She had two goals in mind. Kill White like she should've done years ago. And getting Kaito away from the true monsters. If she has to become one herself once more, she'll gladly do it. Anything to make sure that Kaito was safe.

Anything.

Apologies if the chapter isn't great, but I've done what I can. If you guys like it, I'm glad. It just means that you all can see something that I can't. I'm probably being hard on myself or something.

I am going to try to get the next chapter out as soon as I can, but I'm not sure when.

Remember to stay safe and have a nice day/night 💜
