In the first month everything seemed the same
But day by day my body started to change
Two months on and I’m feeling blue
My emotions are all over the place
And everyone keeps telling me it’s because of you
I saw you for the first time today
It’s been three months and I cannot wait
To set my eyes on your beautiful face
Four months and I’m already packing my overnight case
Scared I won’t have everything in place
Five months and my clothes no longer fit
Afraid to go out and buy a new outfit
I’m only six months along now
Yet when I look at myself I see a cow
Seven months and I’m starting to feel scared
I’m feeling more and more afraid as the days neared
Ohmygod! Already I’m in month eight
I’m so excited to see you, I cannot wait
This is it, the ninth month is finally here
They say it’s gonna be painful, but I don’t care
In the end, it’s all worth it just to hold you near
Nine long months and finally you’re here
