Why couldn't I be that girl
You know? The girl that gets everything she wants
The girl that everyone loves, but secretly hates at the same time.
However, they all want what she's got
I really wanted to be that girl
The one who is beautiful, talanted and extremely smart
The girl that always looks good no matter what she wears
The one who walks into a room making everyone stop and stare
Will I ever be that girl
The one with the handsome, kind and caring boyfriend
The girl with a million and one friends, and five trustworthy best friends
Then again, do I really want to be that girl
The girl who seems to get everything she wants
The one who knows in her heart that everyone hates her
The one who doesn't think she's beautiful, talanted or smart
The girl who really hates the way she looks
The girl who knows that her boyfriend is a fake
The one who knows that no one really wants to be her friend
and her five best friends can't be trusted
Come to think of it, I'm happy just being myself.
