So what if I'm different

When you look at me what do you see?

I guess I'm not what you expected me to be

They say I'm crazy and you should stay away from me

They say we're too different to be friends

And you couldn't help but agree

I know I see the world differently from you

But through every eye the world has a different view

I'm unique, very special and so are you

To make myself into someone I'm not

Is something I won't ever do

So what if I'm different

We all are in some way

A fake persona is something I will never portray

I refused to live my life as a cliché

I will not live by any labels

I refused to be called mentally insane or disabled

At times I might become unstable

But so do you, yet they don't give you a label

I'm glad that I'm different

So please don't expect me to be ashamed

If we were all the same

We'd never be able to differentiate you from me

Being different is unique, won't you agree?
