" Hey Dream you ready? " The taller of the two men asked.
" Oh yeah, just a second " Dream responded quickly picking up his phone and rucksack.

The blond quickly got his shoes on then saw his significant other standing at the door keys in hand.
" Cmon let's get going smiley " came the monotone voice.
Technoblade locked the front door and the two got in their car, Dream in the passenger side and Technoblade in the driver's side.
" Do you have everything? " Techno asked knowing the other forgets a lot
" yup! " the other chirped.
The car roared to life, Techno reversed out the drive and started driving.

" Put some music on the silence sucks " Techno whined.
Dream started playing songs from his phone that was connected to the car.

Techno tapped his hands on the steering wheel along to the beat of Wilburs new song.

A new song started playing the intro familiar to the two.

People change like the tides in the ocean
At least I think or I am I dead wrong?

Dream sang the lyrics looking outside the window passing the beach, the waves crashing against the rocks. Techno rolled down the window the heat from the boiling California sun getting too much for him.

Twenty hours in an old van
Up the east coast through the cold wind
Drove twenty hours by the ocean

Dream smiled looking at the pinkette remembering all the times they did this before.

Now that interstate is paved with memories
Of a past life, I lived when I was eighteen
And every winter, I think back to what we used to be
In that past life, we lived at eighteen

The memories of driving down the highway laughing at each other's silly jokes or sitting in comfortable silence.
