~Artemisia's POV~

We stood scattered around the forest, men on all sides of the town that Dream held captive. I stared at the large building in the middle, knowing that's where I would find him. Any moment now we would rush the town, and take down as many as we could.

Time seemed to slow down again. I could hear my blood flowing through my body as we sat in bitter silence. Techno was on a different part of the forest and I longed to be at his side.

The sound of the horn blasted throughout the woods. My feet pounded into the soil and then onto the concrete paths, sword held high. We struck down men as we went. I had my eyes set solely on the stone brick building in the middle, eager to find Dream.

Once I reached the buildings archways, two men came to stop me from entering. I struck down the first man with ease. The second came at me wildly, his white bandana flowing as he went. This one, was much more difficult.

We fought back and forth for a long time, each of us getting hits on each other. He knocked me to the ground and stood over me. "The oh-so-powerful Artemisia, not so powerful after all." He chuckled. "Dream will kill everyone else, but I guess you're mine." He lifted his sword up, and swung down with great force.

I tucked my legs up and rolled out from under him, swiftly standing up. His sword slammed into the ground. I got behind him and grasped his shoulder hard before stabbing my own sword through his back. I felt his body stiffen before I pulled the sword back out.

He fell to his knees first, and then to the ground on his side as he coughed. I leaned down in front of his face. "I just like to have a little fun first. You didn't stand a chance, Sapnap." I spat.

I turned on my heels and looked to the large staircase. At the top of the stairs stood the green eyed man I had been searching for. To my surprise, a smile etched itself on to my face. He looked pissed, and I loved it.

"Hello, Dream."

Rays of light immediately hurled my way, but with a flick of my hand they disappeared. I shot fire toward him and he fell the side trying to dodge the blast. He regained his footing and stared at me. I swung the sword around in my grasp and got ready for the battle that was about to begin.

It felt like hours. Dream and I were going back and forth using our powers to try and destroy each other. The entire building was beginning to crack and fall apart. Parts of the room were lit with a fire that kept blazing out of control.

I knocked Dream into a far wall and he fell to the ground hard. This was my chance. I started to make my way over to him before men flooded the room coming at me. I busied myself with taking down the swords that came flying at me.

I turned to the wall where Dream once was, only to find that he was nowhere to be seen. Shit. I took down the last three men who were aiming to take my life. I ran outside the building, searching for Dream. The town was going up in flames, but there were still so many people fighting amidst the embers.

Bodies littered the ground from men on both sides of the war. The fighting seemed to never stop. Minutes passed with no sight of Dream. I spotted Wilbur with  another man behind a wall for safety and I quickly made my way over the them.

I leaned my back against the wall beside Wilbur and caught my breath. Blood seeped it's way down my forehead. I wiped it off with my arm. "How are you holding up?" Wilbur questioned.

"I'm okay. I lost Dream, he got away from me." I said, anger laced my voice. A ray of light hit the ground next to the wall. I peeked around the side and noticed Dream stalking his way over to me.

"Never mind, found him." I said before pushing off the wall and going to meet Dream. We began to fight once again, this time in the middle of the entire battle.

We were both weak, and we both knew it. Time passed by, as we continued to match each other's powers. I felt him try to block mine again, but I used my training to resist it and was successful. The look on his face when he couldn't subdue me, only made me want to take him down more.

I met Dream's eyes for the first time while we battled, and the images of Tommy and Tubbo falling to the ground in front of him flashed in front of me. My breath hitched in my throat. I was distracted.

In that moment, Dream took his chance. A beam of light struck me straight in the stomach and tore me to the ground.

"Temi!" I heard Techno scream out from somewhere off the side. I stayed on the ground unable to regain my breathing as I clutched my stomach. I saw Dream beginning to approach me, a proud smile plastered on his face. Stand up, Temi.

I couldn't get up. The pain that began in my stomach stretched out through my entire body. Dream stood just mere feet away from me. This is it. I failed.

In a split second, Techno's sword came slicing down at Dream's side. It caught Dream and he cried out. Techno stood in between us two, sword held high.

"Techno, don't!" I tried to yell out to stop him. He was no match for Dream. (yes i know he is but not in this story lol)

"Your knight in shining armor is here, Artemisia. It's too bad though. I didn't want to have to kill him." Dream growled. He moved at Techno with his own sword and the fought for a moment. I went to regain my footing and finally made it to my feet.

I grabbed the sword that lay a few feet away from me. I went to join the battle before I noticed Dream take the upper hand on Techno. I was too far way to stop it. I couldn't use my powers as it would hurt Techno too. There was nothing I could do.

Everything else faded away when Dreams sword went straight through Techno's body.
