3rd Person P.O.V.
As everyone is doing what Jessica asked, she speaks with Katherine and Sean in her room. "So why did you want to see us, Jess?" Sean questions.
"Because I needed someone to know where I'm going."
"And where is that because if you get yourself killed it's really going to suck for me," Katherine tells her.
"Yes because everything is all about you," Sean states. "Who even are you?"
"Katerina Petrova but you can call me Katherine."
"Oh, you mean like the evil vampire that tried to ruin Jess and her sister's lives?"
"One and the same."
"How can anyone stand to be around you two? Also, I thought you were training to be a priest," Jessica states, finally realizing that he is dressed normally.
"I did want to be one before I got hexed by an evil witch and then was forced to kill all my fellow seminarians. Then you blamed Bastiana after you saved me right before I killed myself. Then Uncle Kieran left out of guilt and Cami came here."
"Wow, sounds super fun. Well, I'm going to head to the airport and wait for Caroline. You two have fun together," Jessica tells them, realizing that she didn't actually care about how Sean is alive. She walks away, leaving the two to watch her in confusion.
"You know, I never got to see her without her humanity off. I heard about it from Marcel but she's really different."
"I did see her without her humanity and it was right after I fed her brother to Silas and got him murdered. She isn't different so much as smarter," Katherine corrects, turning to the admittedly handsome boy next to her. "Emotions are a distraction for anyone but Jessica has so few that the ones she feels distract her more than anything. When she took the cure from me, even though she knew that the her with emotions would want her sister to have it, she manipulated Rebekah, Elena, and even me into believing that she knew nothing."
"So we should be happy that this is the Jessica leading an army?" He wonders, genuinely concerned about his best friend.
"I don't know. Truth be told, I've never cared about anyone other than myself. Well, I cared for my daughter briefly but she died and I couldn't help her. Other than that, it's always been me. My family didn't care for me and no one ever gave me a chance but Jessica. So I'm going to try and be better for her. And that part of me says that if we put Jessica in front of a bunch of supernatural creatures with no humanity, she might just get herself killed."
"And the other part of you?"
"It's telling me that I managed to manipulate Elijah Mikaelson into thinking I loved him twice and Jessica's even smarter than I am. It says that Jessica manipulated her uncle, her mother, and in turn myself, into believing that Damon was in love with Elena and not her. She knew exactly what to have him say and do to convince us and I know it wasn't him."
"She's right," Damon tells him. "I'm guessing Jessica bailed?"
"Sorry. I didn't know we were supposed to keep her here," Katherine responds and Damon shakes his head.
"You weren't. Jessica has a plan that she doesn't want to tell us. I don't know what it is but I don't think that Jessica plans to lead this army. I asked Meredith about the prophecy and she told me that it says, 'There will come a doppelgänger that will bring about change through death. A corrupt council will be toppled for revenge. Uniting the species she will rule with an unseen power that will be unmatched.'"
"So it doesn't say she will rule the army, just that she will rule," Sean points out and Damon nods. "Well, Jessica has been ruling New Orleans since she arrived." He pauses to think of something and Katherine realizes that he knows something.
