Jessica's P.O.V.

I was awoken by a kiss from Klaus that caused me to groan and turn away, seeking more sleep. "You need to wake up, love. Everyone's gathered downstairs to talk about what I've learned from Lucien."

"I need more sleep," I complain and Klaus sighs before taking my blanket so I roll over so I'm on top of him and slide down to lay my head on his chest only to moan.

"What?" Klaus asks in worry and I scoff.

"I did this to distract you so I could get more sleep but thanks to my stupid hormones I can't sleep because now I'm horny but since I'm awake I'm also hungry so I still can't sleep." He chuckles and shakes his head at me before smirking.

"I can help you with both of those problems." I roll my eyes and get off him.

"I'm going to get some breakfast from the kitchen and I'll meet you in the courtyard." Klaus sighs before nodding in agreement and leaving me to get dressed. I put on some jean shorts and a light blue top that has far more cleavage than I remember it showing in the past. I shrug it off, not thinking anything of it before walking down to the kitchen to pour myself a bowl of cereal.

When I get to the courtyard, everyone is sitting down and I can tell that they all have something to share. "Lovely, Jessica is here. Can we start this meeting now, Niklaus?" Elijah questions in a patronizing tone.

"I'm the one that starts the meeting Lijah, that's why you were waiting for me," I point out. "Yesterday, Cami asked me down to the police station because there was a murder where the victim had his mouth slashed, kind of like the Joker. Now there are two people that may have this motive. Since I saw Lucien myself at Nik's art show last night, he seemed the perfect suspect, he's vain enough to wish to cause the pain he felt to others whilst simultaneously framing his oldest enemy, Tristan, and we know he's in town. However, I realized last night that a large group of vampires has also entered the city."

"The Strix," Elijah whispers and I nod.

"Yes. So it could be either one but one way or another it will cause a war because the victims were obviously compelled to hold still. Now due to the circumstances, I have already formulated a lie to keep Lucien in the dark and he's dumb enough to believe it. Since none of you attended the art show last night, Lucien believes that Klaus is in a spat with Elijah and Rebekah. Given the circumstances with Dahlia, I think we can play on that and convince him that Hayley and Jackson are also at odds with him.

"As such, I think it best that for the time being, you move into the apartment across the street from the compound. I purchased it last night so you can move in today. It keeps you all close so we can keep you safe if need be. Now, nobody knows what happened in Beacon Hills but us so as far as everyone knows, Klaus has never been far from his daughter so they think he'll be slightly distracted when she isn't at the compound-"

"Wait, what about me?" Kol questions. "I would be mad at Nik for the stunt he pulled with Dahlia had he not planned everything out to ensure you wouldn't be angry."

"Yes but he thinks you're dead so you should stay with the witches and let him continue to think that." He nods so I turn to Nik. "After I made Lucien believe that Nik and I were merely friends and that Damon was my boyfriend who hates Klaus, Lucien took Klaus back to his apartment to view a prophecy that his seer had." I motion to Nik who stands up.

"The prophecy states that the three remaining Mikaelsons would fall. One by friend, one by foe, and one by family."

"Well I think we all know what family member turns on the others," Marcel states and I laugh causing Nik to glare at me.
