Jessica Gilbert and Henrik Mikaelson are awakened the next morning by the shouting of Elijah Mikaelson for his brother. Jessica opens her balcony and listens as Klaus pretends to be with Aurora and she sees in Elijah's mind that Hayley had been attacked. She frowns wondering why he didn't tell her before chalking it up to Rebekah getting taken. "Who is that?" Henrik asks and she jumps, having forgot he was there.

After he went to begin his story, he let out a loud yawn so Jessica had allowed him to push it off to the morning, still not certain it wasn't a dream. She sighs before closing the door and sitting on the bed. "That's your elder brother Elijah. Do you remember him?" Henrik thinks for a while before shaking his head. "How about you begin your story." And he does. He tells her that after he woke up and saw her, she explained that she was actually Nature.

It told him that he had died but in Jessica's agony at losing someone she loved she had created a new dimension of sorts. It kept Henrik's soul safe until he could be brought back as she wasn't strong enough at the time being as Mikael had killed her soon after. He explains that Nature taught him things, like English, Math, things he would need for modern society. He also informed her that the longer he was in there awake, the stronger his magic got. "What do you mean stronger?"

"Well, before I was killed, I did not have access to my magic. Now I do but I practice your magic."

"Nature taught you my magic?" She questions in surprise, not knowing Nature could do that.

"No, you did. Nature showed me your memories. So long as I saw you, my memories of you stayed intact. Although I do not remember who the people in them with you are," he admits and she frowns.

"So every memory you have of your past life revolves around me?"

"Yes." Her frown deepens and she goes to speak when her phone goes off. She sees a message from Caroline and realizes the date.

"Shit."

"What?"

She looks up at the 13 year old with a groan. "In Nature's teachings did it explain what Thanksgiving is?"

"The holiday with the pilgrims and the Indians?"

"Yes. See that day is today and traditionally, people get together with their friends and family to celebrate. This year, I'm hosting it here at the compound. Normally, I would invite you but you only remember me which probably won't bode well so I'm going to take you shopping and then take you somewhere else but first, I need to make arrangements." He nods and she grabs her phone before walking into the hallway.

First she calls Caroline and asks her and Stefan to get Rebekah's body from the ocean. They agree so she send the coordinates before using magic to send the invites for Friendsgiving to everyone in New Orleans that's invited. Next she calls in a favor to Vivianne and Eric asking them to finish the cooking that she had waiting for today, leaving them instructions. They also agree so she goes inside to grab Henrik before leaving.

As Jessica and Henrik go shopping and Aurora gives Tristan the other envelope, Elijah, Damon, and Nik gather in the study to come up with a plan. It had been decided earlier to invite Tristan, Lucien, and Aurora over for Thanksgiving to see what they can find out only to have Meredith barge in the room in anger. "Please tell me you didn't invite the three idiots to Thanksgiving dinner."

Klaus sighs. "Meredith it is a necessary evil. We haven't seen Jessica all morning so we don't have Rebekah's whereabouts meaning we need to find them," he insists. "I'm, sure you'll find somewhere else to have Thanksgiving."

"No, you will find somewhere else because today isn't just Thanksgiving Klaus. It's Friendsgiving. Jessica already sent the invitations," she states, slamming one against his chest. Klaus looks at it in horror, realizing that he had completely spaced it, a realization both his best friend and brother share.
