3rd Person P.O.V.

The minute Damon Salvatore woke up, he knew something was wrong. The thing that got him was that he was in his bed in the Salvatore Boarding house. He blinks the sleep out of his eyes as he sits up and notices a sleeping Jessica next to him. He frowns knowing for a fact that the last time he had been in the Salvatore Boarding house had been when he, Jessica, and Klaus had traveled to Mystic Falls to save Caroline.

Klaus. Damon focuses on him, yet he isn't sure his memories are right. It's almost like he has these memories that aren't his and he tries to block them out as he reaches for his phone only to drop it when he sees the date. 2021. That wasn't right. He had met Jessica in 2019 and she graduated in 2021 so they couldn't be in 2021. Before he can think too much about it, Jessica groans. "What the hell was that?" She sits up and rubs her eyes with a yawn.

"I, um, dropped my phone," he tells her. "Where's Klaus?"

This causes Jessica to frown. "Klaus Mikaelson?" She asks in confusion and Damon nods. "Damon, Klaus is dead, remember? He came into town to sacrifice Elena and I found out that his life was linked to yours so I unlinked you guys before killing him and his siblings? Ringing any bells?"

"What about Meredith?" Damon wonders. If she had killed all of Klaus' siblings then that meant that Meredith had lost her love. Jessica would never do that to her twin.

"Damon, who is Meredith? Are you okay? I'm starting to worry."

He opens his mouth to explain as the memories begin to flood him again and he gets confused. "How did we end up together?"

Jessica's expression grows even more worried. "We met on Wickery Bridge, the night my parents' car went off the bridge."

"I remember talking to you and Elena but everything after is confusing," he whispers and Jessica grabs his hand.

"You came to the funeral," she informs him. "I recognized you immediately because your compulsion didn't work. You were amazed and confused why it didn't work. Then-"

"Then we went to the grill," he cuts her off, the memories becoming clearer. "We began talking and I fell in love with you. We started talking and a few weeks later we started dating. Then I told you about Katherine-"

"And I helped you get the crystal," she states, crawling on top of him. "Only to get one of my visions that Katherine wasn't in the tomb and you said to forget the bitch. And when she came to town, she linked herself to Elena to get the moonstone and I broke it so you could drive a stake through her heart."

"Yeah, sorry. Maybe it was just the haze of waking up."

"Hmm. Sleep inertia," she taunts and he bursts out laughing.

"Did you learn that from your tv doctor?"

"Hey do not knock Dr. Spencer Reid, Damon Salvatore. He is a genius and if he were real, I would leave you for him in a second. At least he could keep up with me," she jests, getting out of bed and walking towards his bathroom stark naked.

Damon watches her with a smirk. "He might be able to keep up intellectually but he'd only be able to keep up sexually if he was a vampire. You, my dear, are insatiable."

"Well I could always turn him," she ponders as though she were truly considering the matter.

"He'd still never match me," Damon claims and she grins at him, eyes filled with lust.

"Then prove it, Mr. Salvatore." His smirk widens as he vamp-speeds to her and picks her up, making her giggle happily as he carries her to the shower where they start their morning in the best possible way.
