Moving forward using all my breath
Making love to you was never second best
I saw the world thrashing all around your face
Never really knowing it was always mesh and lace
I'll stop the world and melt with you
You've seen the difference and it's getting better all the time
There's nothing you and I won't do
I'll stop the world and melt with you

It has been a month since Derek left Meredith in the supply closet stirred. Anpu had his surgery and thanks to Derek's amazing abilities he survived. Even he was surprised on how well he has done on the surgery. It was a slow and hard recovery but he was discharged from the hospital today. Not an exciting day for Meredith. Some part of her still doesn't believes she's freed from that man. There is always something that he comes up with to get her back and working for him.

"I hardly seen you this month," Cristina greeted Meredith in the locker room.
"Oh you know how intern life is, always busy," she gave her an awkward chuckle. All month she was trying to ignore any sort of conversation with Cristina, afraid she'll tell something to her she wasn't supposed to.
"Are you okay?" Cristina looked at her questionably.
"Yes why wouldn't I be?" Meredith smiled at her.
"You're smiling, you are not okay." Cristina sat her down on the bench, "Spill." She commanded her.
"Spill what?"
"Whatever you're hiding. I know there is something wrong when you smile like that, so spill,"
"I have rounds," Meredith stood up, "I'll talk to you later and then you can tell me about you and that guy you told me about few weeks ago," there were other people in the room and she didn't want to ruin Cristina's life with one word.
"You are not getting out of this so easy," Cristina shouted after her.

"Grey your patients asking for you," Bailey saw Meredith come out of the locker room.
"Anpu?" She said all freaked out.
"Yes," Bailey answered with a loathing look.

Meredith turned around, scared for her life. Every horrible thing imaginable went through her mind. She walked up to his room the slowest possible way, getting looks from her coworkers. Even Derek stared her down as she went through the doors of her worst nightmare.

"You wanted to see me?" She asked in a shaky voice.
"Meredith," he sounded happy to see her, "So good to see you." The freaky smile he gave her made her want to run out of the room into Derek's arms. "It is?" She finally said.
"I've been meaning to talk to you for a while. Come sit down," he invited her.
"No right here his perfectly fine," she insisted on standing as far away from him as possible. After Derek basically blackmailed him into letting her go, she's been scared to go home on her own. She rather stayed in the hospital then sleep in her own bed.
"If you insist," he said, "As you know, Derek made quite the deal with me the other day." Meredith just nodded making sure he sees he has her full attention. "I am quite disappointed in you. This is not how I thought I'd be letting you go. And just because you don't work for me anymore does not me that you are safe and neither is your family," he smiled in a creepy way, "Have a great day Ellen," he raised his eyebrows waving bye to her. The minute these words left his mouth her heart started to thump. Harsh and distracting as she turned around, feeling his eyes on her. Shaking, she walked out of the room seeing Derek looking up from his paperwork. She immediately turned the opposite way and walked away from him as fast as possible.

Derek knew right away that something was off. He closed the charts that he was holding in his hands and threw it to the nearest nurse, not even looking if they caught it or not. Suspiciously he followed Meredith, not even realising that everyone around them were staring.

Meredith ran into the nearest on call room, slamming the door right in Derek's face and locking it.
"Dr Grey are you okay?" He tried to act professional. Hearing him say her family name made her stop pacing around the room. Was the reason she stopped because she was taken by surprise or was the reason because Derek cared more about what people thought then how she felt? She wasn't sure but she knew that Derek has never called her Dr Grey at work. Has she really lost the one man that truly cared about her because she was a coward to say no to that disgusting piece of a human being.
