After a long day at work Meredith and Cristina were changing in the locker room.
"So how did the day with McDreamy go?" Cristina asked.
"Better than I thought it would."
"Details Mer, Details," Cristina was getting impatient.
"I don't think we should talk about this, right in front of everyone," she pointed at everyone in the locker room, who have been listening to them all along.
"Get a life people," Cristina stood up. "We're not done talking about this," she whispered into Meredith's ear. She took her bag out, rolling her eyes.

"Cristina!" Burke shouted after her seeing her and Meredith walking out of the hospital.
"You go on, I'll catch up with you later," she told Meredith.
"I told you not to call me Cristina when we're at work," she waited until Meredith left and turned to Burke.
"Then we should tell the chief about our relationship,"
"No, Ellis is finally, not disliking me, plus I'm an intern. I don't need people to think I get all the good surgeries because I'm dating an attending,"
"But you are," he decided to joke a little. His dropped into a frown as he saw her give him a death stare, "Fine! But I don't know how long I can go on like this," he started walking away from her.

"What was that all about?" Meredith asked as Cristina got in the car.
"Don't worry about it. What I need to know is, how your day went with Dr Shepherd."
"It went better than expected. He kept trying to tell me about his wife, until I finally allowed him to explain himself,"
"And? What did he say,"
"You are such a gossip," Meredith giggled.
"Shut up, just tell me what he said,"
Meredith laughed at her, "Apparently her wife cheated on him first but then they found out she's pregnant and he thought it was his baby but in fact it was his best friends, whom she cheated on with,"
"Shit, that's rough. Poor guy,"
"Yeah,"
"So then what happened?"
"We got paged 911,"
"And you haven't talked to him since?"
"No, why would I?" Meredith looked at her puzzled, "He's still my boss. He's still our boss. I don't need another reason for people to gossip about me in this hospital."
No one said anything for the rest of the car ride home, both of them knackered from the day they had.

"Derek please, don't leave things like this between us. Just give us another try," Addison ran after him as he was walking out of the hospital.
"Would you just let this go. I am not taking you back," he stopped and turned around, "Listen, you were once the love of my life and some part of me still loves you, but our marriage was already unrepairable way before you slept with Mark. You can have everything in New York, all I'm asking from you is to sign the papers,"
"So what, this is it? It's down to this? We're over just like that?" She started crying.
"I am so sorry,"
"Who's the girl?" She just blurted out.
"What there is no girl," he tried to hide the fact that he was lying.
"I know you Derek," she took a step closer, "You wouldn't give up on us so easily if there wasn't someone,"
"Addison don't try to blame this on me, there is no girl. End of conversation," he turned away and got into his rental car. Derek drove away leaving Addison alone in the car park.

"Well you don't look good, rough day huh?" Izzy saw Meredith come in the house with huge black circles under her eyes.
"You have no idea," she threw herself on the couch.
"I heard you were with the new neuro attending."
"What who told you?" Meredith sprung up from the sofa thinking Izzy knows about her and Derek sleeping together.
"You were on his service today," Izzy was confused.
"Oh right that," Meredith laid back down, letting a huge sigh of relief out, her cheeks going red.
"Is there something going on between you two that I don't know about?" She was trying to figure out why Meredith reacted that way.
"No," she started laughing, "what gave you that idea?"
"Haaaaa," Izzy stood up realising what Meredith did, "You SLEPT WITH HIM,"
"WHAT no I didn't," she lied.
"Oh you can't lie Grey, you totally slept with him," Izzy had a huge grin on her face.
"Alright shhh, keep it down. I got drunk last night at the bar and so I slept with him. But I didn't know he was my boss, or that he was married," Meredith was keeping her voice down.
"Oh my god. You are so screwed," she chuckled
"Thanks Izzy, very helpful," Meredith crossed her brows.
"Right sorry. So what are you going to do now?"
"Nothing. It was a one time thing and no one can find out. You understand me?" She pointed her finger at her.
"My lips are sealed," Izzy grinned to herself.
"I'm serious,"
"Mer I'm not one to gossip," Meredith looked at her, "Are you sure about that?" She said sarcastically.
"Fine, but I promise I won't tell anyone,"
"Good," She stood up walking up the stairs and into her bedroom. Not even changing she threw herself on the bed and fell right asleep.
