𝟗 ✮ 𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐡𝐢𝐠𝐡 𝐝𝐢𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐠𝐞𝐭? ✮

FRIDAY. EXAMS.

That's the headline for today. Every student was nervous and anxious of course. For some, this will depict how their grades would be but for four guys, this will depict if they could go to Tokyo or not. The whole team has been studying really hard so they can have a score over 80 which was the passing score.

Even though you'll take your exams later in the afternoon, you still woke up early to help the others prepare for today and you could tell that your five students were anxious, even Tsukishima. They even woke up earlier than you. Their exams are from 7 in the morning till 12 noon while you'll take yours from 11 in the morning till 4 in the afternoon but they were awake as early as 4:30AM.

It was already 5 in the morning when you woke up, the normal time you do. You looked at the other side of the bed just to see a blank spot beside you and a neatly folded blanket. Yachi woke up early and was studying still. You immediately did your short morning routine like fixing the bed, your hair, and cleaning your face. You also brushed your teeth quickly before heading downstairs.

You could already hear noise from the kitchen and from indistinct chatter. By this time, your parents would be home, asleep and your cousin would be the one who'll watch over the store since your brother can't.

You made your way to the kitchen just to see all five of them drinking milk. They were all already wearing their uniforms, textbooks and notes on the table while they were drinking the milk from your fridge. As soon as you entered the kitchen, they all looked at you.

"Good morning." You said with your husky, morning voice.

The five immediately diverted their gaze elsewhere before mumbling good mornings to reply to your greeting. You furrowed your brows and went straight to the fridge to look for something to cook.

"Is that what she looks and sounds like when she wakes up?"

"I even slept with her last night and I'm telling you, she's even pretty in her sleep!"

"Her voice was so... argh"

"If I get to see and hear that everyday, I would definitely move in right away."

"God, good morning indeed."

Their whispers didn't go unnoticed as you listen to them and chuckle while shaking your head. Even the last one, which was from Tsukishima, was heard by you despite the blonde trying to make it as quiet as possible.

You got used to everyone complimenting you, even with the simplest things you do. At first, you were shy and would always deny it but as days came, the compliments also increased and you just got used to it.

"Do you guys wanna eat breakfast?" You asked them, making their heads turn to you again.

Yachi, who had a confused look on her face, glanced at her phone for a second to check the time before looking at you, "Can you order this-"

"Oh no, silly. I'm going to cook." You heartily said, cutting Yachi off. They all hesitantly looked at each other before answering.

They all gave you a reluctant nod, making you smile, "Don't worry, I can cook. I lived alone in an apartment in Tokyo so I learned how." You said while getting some eggs, sausages and ham from the fridge.

Sure, it wasn't the traditional Japanese breakfast but you got used to cooking these quick meals every morning in Tokyo and you don't have much time to cook something more traditional. You immediately started cooking while the five were just watching you from behind.
