✮°✦°✮°✦°✮°✦°✮°✦°✮YOU WERE NEVER A MORNING PERSON.
You didn't hate the morning nor did you love it, you just simply dislike it since you always don't feel like getting up so early because Mr. Sun was already up.
Hanaki was a morning person, according to her. She was always active in the morning whenever she would pick you up from your apartment and usually wakes you up. But you couldn't help but question how she does it considering how much of a party animal she is, how late she would sleep and how early she would wake up every day. She usually only get a maximum of five hours of sleep tops and yet still manages to work efficiently.
She was either a workaholic monster or has a really, really terrible body clock.
Honestly, you couldn't understand why people love mornings. Wasn't it tiring to wake up so early?
Then again, you were an athlete, it was always tiring, especially during training.
But aren't people, who are working their asses off everyday, exhausted as well? And they even have to wake up early and do their chores or run personal errands!
At this point, you were just distracting yourself from the dreaded fate you were in.
And that's to train with the team you weren't yet prepared to interact it.
First thing in the fucking morning.
Yep, confirmed, I am not a fucking morning person.
Each and every step you took on the wooden floorboard weighed tons as you slowly walked towards the side of the court where males in teal and white were training. A unwanted churn in your stomach made you nauseous as your eyes went to a tall fluff of brown hair that had his back face you, making you absentmindedly glare at it.
You inhaled a deep breath to calm yourself as your heart continued to pound loudly and in a fastened pace, faster than a person being chased by wild animals. You were very much aware why your body was reacting at this and you hated it, you hated knowing why it was like this.
Because of a past you were currently trying to get over.
When you were a few meters away from the said team, some of the members eyes went to your approaching figure as they watched you walk towards their team before looking away with flushed cheeks. Honestly, a lot of them were excited about you training them. They heard a lot of good things about you both in volleyball and cheerdance and your achievements were enough for their eyes to turn into stars with little sparkles.
Kunimi and Kindaichi were actually proud that they came from Kitagawa Daiichi after finding out that you were technically their senior both in sports and academics despite being older than you for a few months. They even bragged it to their other teammates but unfortunately weren't able to elaborate on what you were like in middle school since they didn't know you that much and was afraid that they might accidentally say something they shouldn't to the team.
The same something Kageyama also wanted to tell Nishinoya and Kiyoko the night before but was only capable of giving then cryptic and vague words.
Your hands were already in your pockets as your attempt to hide its slight trembling due to the anxiety and nervousness building up inside of you. More thoughts came to your head as you 'calmly' walked to the said team. But in the inside...
Shit, should I back out?
No, I ain't a coward.
But you'll just end up messing everything up again.
