✮°✦°✮°✦°✮°✦°✮°✦°✮YOU COULDN'T MOVE.
No matter what you did.
You couldn't even fucking move an inch.
You stood there, in front of Oikawa as you both gaze into each other's eyes. You tried your best, your very best, to hide the emotions in your eyes that were threatening to resurface, the tears that begged for you to let them out, the words inside your heart that were aching to be said.
But you controlled yourself.
Hardly.
He still looked the same from a year ago, the last time you saw him. The same brown, fluffy hair you would always play with, the same smug grin on his pinkish lips, the same flat-ass bitch you and Iwa would always tease him about, and the same eyes you always loved.
Oikawa's eyes were still the same tantalizing brown eyes that you used to love and admire, those eyes that were always filled with light and burning passion, those eyes that always gave you reassurance and made you feel safe.
But those were also the very eyes that belonged to the person who caused you pain.
Oh how you wish they didn't.
As you stared into his eyes even more, his into yours, it felt like time slowed down to a nanosecond per minute, as if you were the only people in the room. You always loved how expressive Oikawa's eyes were.
But now you hated it.
Because now you could clearly see the emotions you didn't want to see in them.
Longing and pain.
And just by seeing those awful emotions in his eyes made you want to cry and shout at him, the anger bubbling inside you. Why was he feeling pain? Longing? How dare he feel those emotions? No, how dare he come here when their team refused the offer in the first place, the reason why you accepted the offer to 'train' the others.
The anger. The pain. Everything came hitting you back again like a truck.
And the longer you stayed there, the more time all the memories replayed in your mind, flashing before your eyes like some stupid movie.
The longer you stayed, the more it felt suffocating as your heart rate rapidly increases and your breathing became heavy. Your heart began to hurt as more emotions flooded through you.
That was certainly not good.
"Ah, Coach Irihata, Aoba Johsai's head coach! Nice to see you really came!" The head coach from Shinzen greeted the old ravenette coach of Seijoh as he walked towards the newly arrived team.
When the Shinzen coach arrived, he stood beside you, "You probably already know her but this is-"
"Y/N Ukai. I... know her." The coach, who stood a few feet from Oikawa, said as he glanced at your figure. You shifted your gaze towards the coach and with a fake smile, you bowed, "Nice to... see you again, Coach Irihata."
"Oh come on kiddo, that's not what you call me before." The man then chuckled as you raised our head, the fake smile still on your lips, "I'm glad to see you are well, Coach Iri."
Irihata then continued his conversation with the Shinzen coach and for some reason, your eyes went back to the person in front of you and when you looked into his eyes again, the world slowed down again for the second time.
The moment the sound of the gym doors opening was heard by everyone, they all looked at the gym doors and after seeing the commotion, went back to what they were doing.
