OIKAWA AND IWAIZUMI DIDN'T KNEW WHAT HAPPENED, IT ALL WENT ON SO FAST.

One second, they were stunned at when you finally responded to them, the next they were standing in front of you, and now, they were seated in a bus with you, the Karasuno team, the Tokyo Squad, and the three pep squad members, talking to Akaashi and Kuroo, who they surprisingly get along with.

In actuality, outside the court, they were okay with Karasuno, especially Iwaizumi. It was only Kageyama, Daichi, and Oikawa who had this hidden tension between them, and sometimes Nishinoya and Oikawa, however, it wasn't as intense as the former.

In fact, they even had a few practice matches and, even if Karasuno did lose, the Seijoh team didn't rubbed it in their faces, well maybe Oikawa to Kageyama, but he was lowkey giving away a few tips unknowingly whenever he tries to insult the younger.

Quite stupid, as you do say so yourself.

Sure, Karasuno and Aoba Johsai has this intense rivalry, especially after what happed at the Inter-High Prelims, but most of them already moved on from their own losses and most likely have one common enemy now.

And that would be Shiratorizawa.

The rest of the Seijoh team would usually apologize for Oikawa's childish banters and would openly let Karasuno see how they scold him, especially Iwaizumi. Though, very fortunate for them, the two didn't have that much matches, for the whole week, they probably only had two matches? Yeah, something like that. Maybe someone was sensitive enough to not pair them up that much *cough* you *cough*

The ride to the foundation wasn't that long but it was certainly not quiet, especially with Nishinoya, Tanaka, Hinata, Bokuto, Kuroo, Oikawa, Eichi, and Aimi getting along. You were seated at the front with Lia and the both of you were catching up with each other, the older ranting about how hard it was to handle the team's shenanigans whenever Jiniza was gone.

"And there was this one time, Tomo and Takiyo ran around the dorm, Tomo chasing him with a bat because Taki thought it was okay to eat her favorite donuts. He of all people should know not to each Tomo's favorite donuts." She said, disappointingly sighing as she had flashbacks on the said event.

You laughed at her as she continued, "Seriously, I don't know how you or Jiniza does it. They're even more tiring than the kids at the foundation, and they're all in college!" She then eyed you, "How about you? How is Karasuno treating you?"

You plainly smiled, "Er, okay, I guess. I don't really attend classes so..." As if on cue, you then remembered the time where you were harassed and Kiyoko and Nishinoya saved you.

"So?" Lia noticed your change of expression and how you trailed off. She was very good at reading and analyzing people, noticing every little detail that a person does. You once again smiled, however, it looked more fake, "I don't really know. But the team were very nice to me, they're very protective too." You said, giggling at the last part.

However, no matter how good Lia was in reading people, she could never detect how fake your smiles were because you have mastered making them seem like real ones instead of fake ones.

A blessing and a curse indeed.

"I'm glad. At least we don't have to worry about you if they're protective like us. Did you know how the others wanted to come with you to Miyagi a day after you left because, according to them, 'you need your protection squad and the bodyguards won't cut it'. It all ended to Jiniza each giving then a smack in the head and cleaning duties for the rest of the month." You and Lia laughed as she remembered the regretful looks on their faces and you imagining them.
