✮°✦°✮°✦°✮°✦°✮°✦°✮WHEN THE NEXT MORNING ROLLED IN,
everyone woke up a lot earlier than usual to prepare for the volleyball kids' leave. After doing so, when they all gathered for breakfast downstairs, everyone was confused for the reason they all met was not with them.
"Where's Y/N?" Kiyoko asked, which was left unanswered since no one had any idea where you were.
Nishinoya raised a hand, "I'll check her room!"
"I'm coming too!" Hinata followed before they both dashed to the staircase only to be stopped by the person who was descending from it.
"No need, boys. Hanaki messaged me earlier and told me she picked Y/N up a few hours ago." Jiniza stated as she walked towards the group.
They all felt relieved with that statement from the eldest but they were still confused, "Why did Y/N have to leave earlier?" Daichi voiced out the question in everyone's head.
Jiniza shrugged, "She didn't say anything about that, but it's probably because of an urgent meeting with Hanaki-san's father or something."
With that, they all had breakfast together before the volleyball kids had to leave. They all said their goodbyes to each other before the group boarded the bus, accompanied by Lia and Eichi.
The bus ride was, as usual, rowdy. However, one person remained silent ever since the sun rose.
"Oi, Trashykawa, you okay there?" The said brunette snapped out from his daze when he heard his best friend calling for him.
He turned his head from the window beside him to Iwa, "Yeah, why?"
"I haven't heard your whiny voice all morning. Is something wrong?"
Oikawa shook his head, "Nah, just peachy." A teasing grin then formed on his lips that Iwaizumi knew didn't mean any good.
"Aww, was the great Iwa-chan perhaps worried for me?"
Let's just say, they began to join the rowdy crowd with their bickering.
Once their bickering died down and Iwaizumi slept with his earphones on, Oikawa went back to looking outside the window as his thoughts came coming back once more to plague his mind.
Did she leave because of me?
Oikawa couldn't get rid of these thoughts the moment he heard that you left earlier than anyone, and with what happened last night, he doubted what Jiniza said. He knew that he was part, or maybe the reason, why you left without them.
Why?
To avoid him, of course.
And he wasn't wrong with that.
The whole day, you never came to training. No one saw a single strand of your hair that day. Of course, training still went on but everyone was worried. They haven't heard anything from you and it was starting to worry them. Even when the coaches announced to every team that you were busy that day, they couldn't shake off the feeling of worry for you.
Especially Oikawa.
He was restless. He didn't know that your talk with him the night prior would affect you this much, to the point that you avoided him and everyone. Sure, you were already avoiding him ever since they came to training camp but at that time, you were still here, where he could see you closely, now, you were nowhere to be seen.
