"You are in love, true love."

August. Age 14

It's been more than a year since I graduated as our grade valedictorian, entered middle school, and went to the same school once more with Tooru and Iwa.

And it's also been eight months since I and Tooru officially got together.

Like what we agreed on, we kept our relationship private especially from his fans, but we told Iwa about it the next day.

"Finally grew some balls huh, Trashykawa?"

"So vulgar, Iwa-chan! We have a child here!"

"I am not a child—!"

"Yes, you are. You are my baby, therefore you are a child."

"Ew, don't tell me I have to deal with this crap every day?"

"Iwa-chan so mean!"

"Well, Trashykawa aside, I'm happy for you two. Though you are both still young, it was about time that you got together. It was so annoying to listen to this idiot's rants about the gifts he confiscates from your locker."

He was very supportive of us despite always complaining when Tooru suddenly becomes clingy and would do lovey-dovey things to me. I didn't mind it though, but Iwa would always make a disgusted face whenever it happens and would always walk in front of us. We always teased him about it, but he just throws us an angry glare that was more than enough to shut us up.

Because seriously, who isn't afraid of Iwa's scary glares? Brrr...

As for our parents, we told them a week later because we had to conjure up a plan on how to break it to them, especially to my family. We told them about it over dinner when Tooru's family joined us since it was a family tradition ever since they moved. Once a month, my grandparents would come to have dinner with us and the Oikawas either at our house or at Tooru's residence.

Tooru's parents and my grandparents were very happy about it, however, I can't say the same for my parents.

After dinner and when my grandparents were already asleep, they came into my room and confronted me about it. They at first thought that it was ridiculous and even forced me to break it off, thinking that it would just be a distraction to me and that it would just hinder my academics. However, after making a small deal with them, they just let me be.

What was the deal, you may ask?

Well, the deal was, I will remain at the top of my class with grades that are all A+ from the first year 'til third as well as the number one player in the girl's volleyball team.

I knew it was difficult, but I was the one who made the deal; therefore, I have to fulfill it.

They seemed convinced about it and even doubted I could do it. I couldn't blame them, I doubted myself too. But I love that brown-haired buffoon too much that I'm willing to do the impossible.

Ew, that sounded cringy.

Though it is the truth.

Anyways, middle school came so fast that before I knew it, it was already my first day at middle school. My parents were still upset about the fact that I refused the scholarship to Shiratorizawa and went to Kitagawa Daiichi instead, its most known rival. They were so upset and disappointed, especially my mother who used to be a teacher there and still had a strong connection with the school. But after the little deal, I made with them, they allowed me to go to Kitaiichi.
