Chapter 23: Big Stage

Eren POV:

After all the drama with Armin's fight and my revenge, both fighters were given suspensions on their liscenses

They were increased from their original length to 6 months

Its currently May 2011

My career has been going really well, I've passed Reiner, Jean, Bertholdt and Marco in terms of how good my record looks, but I'm fighting people who are slightly worse than they are

In the last 6 months I've had 10 fights, 10 wins and 9 knockouts

They've stopped talking crap in school and none of us acknowledge our existences

I'm fighting Chestibor next week then I have Tijan Vroomen the week after before I start preparations for my second, and last, U9- U13s championship

My record is looking pretty good:

Chestibor still has the same record he did before and Tijan is 35-0-0 with 35 knockouts

I've got two really big and challenging fights before the tournament

My fight with Chestibor Sokolov has been getting alot of publicity recently

I've had people approaching me on the street either to ask for photos, to tell me to 'kill that motherfucker' or to tell me I'm going to die

There's nothing I can do now except fight

There's a week until my fight so my training has stopped

I'm currently sitting in a suit waiting behind a stage

This has gotten so much public attention that they've put us on the undercard of a Levi Ackerman fight, I couldn't believe it

Shadis: "Come on. We're up for the first fight press conference"

I walked with Shadis onto the stage

I was blinded by a spot light above me and my thoughts were drowned out with cheers and screams

I am currently approaching a row of tables centered in the middle of the stage

One table for us, on the far right, one table for the interviewer and promoter in the middle, and one for Chestibor and his coach on the far left

All the tables were put together and covered in an ominous black cloth to give the illusion of a very long table

We were all seated to face the audience
