Chapter 33: I'm Back

2 weeks later:

Eren POV:

There was originally 32 people in my class, that changed on the first day as it went to 28

Then after a week, it went down to 25

And now that this is the first training session you have to pay for, its gone down to 20

12 people dropped out either because of their egos, not wanting to work hard or not wanting to pay for the training

Levi: "Right. A lot of people have dropped out recently. It doesn't bother me. I can't give out free lessons and I can't teach you boxing in a soft way. This sport is harsh and isn't for pussies who wants an easy ride"

Levi: "You guys have completed the two weeks of relatively easy and simple training. At the end of this coming month you're either gonna quit or you're either gonna be the strongest you've ever been. I only want strong people here so if the training is already too hard and you want easy lovey dovey shit you can fuck off... Good you're all here, I hope it remains that way"

Levi: "Right so the Pyxis 10 will start in the gym, Kenny and Rod's 7 will be in the technical room and my 3 will be sparring"

After everyone separated, Levi told us to get in the ring

Levi: "Right. I've taught you all how to take a punch like a champ but that's been in a controlled environment. It's not controlled in the ring, anything can happen. You can fucking die if you're not careful. Today, I'm gonna prepare you for everything. 2 on 1 scenarios. They're unlikely in boxing but likely in the real world. You'll be more aware of your surroundings in the ring and under the tense pressure of the situation, your judgment skills will improve. We train to have elite bodies, elite mentalities and elite tactical minds here in this gym"

Levi: "You two, try and knock Jaeger's head off"

We all put our gloves and headguards on, slipping our gumshields into our mouths.

Levi: "Be tactical. Smoke out each other's weaknesses and use the ring to your advantage. Cut off angles for Jaeger to use. And Jaeger, don't panic, try and find ways to maneuver out of sticky situations instead of standing still, blocking the storm and hoping an umbrella comes out of nowhere. Be your own umbrella"

Levi: "Right. Ding-a-ling. Go!"

The two boys charged at me, one of them jabbed me in the face so I gave him an overhand, only to take a cross to the temple from the other person

Levi: "Stop being an idiot Jaeger, I know it must be hard for you"

Shut it, runt

They backed me into the corner as one of them pummelled my head and the other, my body

Levi: "Good, good, that's clever. You've only got two arms Jaeger, you can't block. What are you gonna do here?"

I decided to just risk it, I braced myself for a barrage of hits, jaw and head down and used my arms to ball my upper body up

I ran towards the two, moving between them, I ran through them and now they were in the corner and I had the upper hand

Levi: "Wow Jaeger. I'm impressed, what are you gonna do here?"

Last time I attacked one, the other got me

They were both stood next to each other

I've gotta make them get in the way of each other so I can take them on, 1 on 1

I stood to the right, facing one of them whilst the other was stuck behind his team mate

I began leathering this guy as I knew the other would catch on
