Chapter 42: Boogeyman

Boogeyman POV:

I sit infront of my 1990s style TV in my battered arm chair

I can't get that fight out of my head

He ruined me

Ended my legacy

Ended my relationship

Ended my job

I fucking HATE HIM

I can't help but rewatch the fight

TV commentator: "And here's 18 year old Eren Jaeger, now dominating the fight in the final round. What's Prince going to do now?"

TV commentator: "Eren continues his ruthless enslaught, when's it gonna end?"

TV commentator: "And that's it ladies and Gentlemen, its all over. Eren Jaeger is the new Light Heavyweight Paradis National Champion. Nial 'The Boogeyman' Prince dominated the first two round but Jaeger's power was just too muc-"

I threw my can of beer at the television and watched as it fell off the table it was resting on

Nial: "FUCK YOU JAEGER!"

Present day:

Eren POV:

Eren: "So you're telling me he's injured?" (Eren said in disbelief(

Levi: "Yep, we've got you a replacement though"

Eren: "Who?"

Levi: "The Boogeyman"

Eren: "I thought he was a light Heavyweight though?"

Levi: "Apparently he's moved up now"

Eren: "Oh ok"

Levi: "Right, I've gotta go, the brat is causing a mess. See you at training"

Eren: "Alright, nice one"

He hung up

The Boogeyman

I've already beaten him

It was a good fight that he could've won

I'll just have to beat him convincingly

The Boogeyman POV:

Finally

Eren Jaeger will now understand my pain

She took the kids

My sponsors dropped me

My future professional contract, ripped infront of my face

Forced to work as a binman

Ridiculed for getting knocked out by a "kid"

I'll fucking kill him

The Boogeyman is coming Jaeger

1 month later:

Press conference:

3rd person POV:

Nial: "Fuck you Jaeger, you ruined me and now I'll ruin you!" (He threatens)

Eren: "I literally beat you in a boxing matc-"

Nial: "Shut the fuck up! You'll feel the wrath of the Boogeyman!" (The anger further boiling in his voice)

We then see Nial stand up from his chair as Eren does as well

Eren: "Don't you know by now? The Warhammer can not be defeated. Especially by The Boogeyman. What kind of name is that? Doesn't the Boogeyman pick on kids?"
