Chapter 41: Interview

2 months later (September 2017)

Eren POV:

Usually I'd be getting read for school around about now, however, I've finished that chapter of my life

I guess I did pretty well

For my GCSEs (AN: Sorry for anyone who lives outside of the UK) I got:

PE: A*
English 1: A
English 2: A
Maths 1: A
Maths 2: A
Biology: B
Physics: B
Art: B
Music: B
RS: C
Chemistry: D

And at A level I got:

PE: A*
English: B
Maths: B
Art: B

Which is pretty good, all things considered

Of course, Mikasa and Armin absolutely blew me out of the park

They both got 11 A*s at GCSE and 4 A*s at A level, fucking nerds

Of course, they're both going to university

Armin is going to become a doctor, I'm not sure what he wants to specialise in though

And Mikasa wants to be a teacher. I pray for any child that even slightly pisses her off

I didn't bother even applying for anything, I don't really need to, I'm going to be a boxer so there'd be no point

Currently, I'm watching Mikasa frantically typing infront of a laptop, its like I said, she's a nerd

I'm dressing up in a suit as I'm being interviewed

I'm not sure what colour to wear though, usually I just chuck on anything but I'm not good at actually knowing what looks good-

Mikasa: "Oh my God, watching you decide is giving me stress. Are you not panicking? You have to be there in 20 minutes"

Eren: "Sheesh, sorry Carla Jaeger-"

Mikasa: "I will bring her here so we can both beat your ass-"

Eren: "What you gonna do shortie?"

Mikasa: "I'm basically 5'10 in shoes, shut it"

Eren: "ooooo I'm basically 5'10 in shoes" (I say in a high pitched, mocking tone)

She then turns from her laptop to look at me

Mikasa: "You cheeky little shit. I'll get you back for this-"

Eren: "What you gonna do? Tickle my ankles?"

We both laugh at the ridiculousness of what I just said

Mikasa: (sigh) "Guess I've gotta do everything for you"

She then stands up and walks into the dressing room

Mikasa: "You don't wanna wear black, its boring... hmmm, green suits your eyes but its so generic to do that and you'll look like the Wizard of Oz... A nice purple would bring out the colour but we'll go for a faded, pale purple so you don't look like Willy Wonka... Now for the tie, hmmm... Aha, a charcoal grey should do it, its not boring like black but its not too out there like the purple. Make sure you wear black shoes though... I also want to see you before you leave"

Eren: "... oh my God"

Mikasa: "What?"

Eren: "You're actually a younger version of my mum"

She then lightly slaps my shoulder and giggles

Mikasa: "Yeah well I'm not a mother... yet" (she bites her lip at me)

Eren: "Nope, nope, nopitty, nope. I know my pull out game might be shit but we are not having a child. We're 19!"

Mikasa: "Oh my God, stop being boring"
