Tahimik lang kami sa byahe. The deafening silence between us caused me to be afraid, he may heard the sound of my heart right now. But that's just absurd.

Sinulyapan ko siya ng isang beses. Just him, eyes fix on the road seriously with a little frown. Napaiwas ako ng tingin. How can he look that effortlessly attractive even though he's frowning?

Now that, I, myself already admitted, acknowledged perhaps, that I am falling for him just doesn't bring any assurance for the future. I mean I will be feeling awkward and who knows what's more going to happen.

The thought of it brought a little bit of ache inside my chest. I'm so doomed right now. How can I like my kuya's bestfriend? After all the confusion I had the past weeks, it came to the conclusion. That me, likes him and it's not going to be worth it.

He is straight as a pole. That's one of the reasons why I just couldn't brought myself to believe in whatever he said. Him, liking me? Maybe he's just in love with something different. A challenge perhaps.

Nararamdaman ko ang awkward kapag napatitig ako sa kanya. Its like he'll know if he will look at my eyes.

The next day, when me and kuya eating our breakfast before we off to school, he asked me that caused me to cough.

Nakatungo lang ako at tinitignan ang pagkain. I feel like on a hotseat right now. Damn.

On that morning, Cade was outside again. Jaden didn't fetch me anymore, seems like he totally respected my parents orders as what he had believed.

I feel bad for him, maybe I should make it up with him. That's right, I should be.

Lumabas na ang sasakyan ni kuya at bago pa siya humarurot, binuksan niya muna ang bintana.

"Bro, paki-ingatan bunso ko huh? Ikaw na magdrive. Kapag may nangyaring masama, lagot ka sakin." at tumawa siya.

Cade just shook his head and chuckled a little.
