"Saan ang punta mo?" Arkin asked when he found me gracing the hallway of the RREC- Ramos Real Estate Company building.

He looked dashing with his corporate attire and hair pushed back and fixed neatly.

"I have a meeting with Mr. Dela Vegas, Arkin. How about you?"

He stalked behind me as I made my way to the lift. Pagkapasok ko ay pumasok rin siya. I shot my brows at him, asking again.

He only gave me a malicious look that earned him my glare. Tinitigan niya ako na parang pinag-aaralan at tinitimbang ang ekspresyon ko. I sighed and rolled my eyes.

"Seriously, Arkin. This is just pure business. Huwag kang malisyoso,"

Napailing siya sa sinabi ko na para bang dismayado.

"Tss,"

I rolled my eyes again. Noon pa man palagi niya nang iginigiit na gusto ako ni Justine Dela Vegas, senior namin no'ng nag-aaral pa kami keso daw palaging nagpapapansin sa akin. Hindi ako naniniwala because my prejudice towards boys was now proven.

They are straight and it's impossible for them to fall for someone like me. I experienced it first hand. I was hurt because of it that's why I strongly believe on my prejudices towards them.

"Bahala ka nga dyan, huwag ka masyadong over protective okay? I know what I'm doing and beside if ever he does really had other intentions with me, I am not interested, alright?"

Inirapan niya lang ako ng pina-suplado. I laughed a bit of it because he looks grumpy now with his brows meeting and lips in grim line.

"I don't know if your past heartbreak made you naive,"

And he went out first before me. Napaawang ang labi ko sa inakto niya. For years, he really doubt and hated Justine for constantly being friendly with me and his only reasons is that he doesn't want me to experience the heartbreak I experienced before.

He was my friend when I moved here in Australia. He's Train's second degree cousin, nalaman ko ito nang minsan ko siyang nakuwento sa mga kaibigan ko sa Pilipinas nang nagtawagan kami.

I had told him about my first heartbreak as well. We met before at one time when I cried in public, he approached me to comfort me with his girlfriend Jasmine Mae Ramos.

He saw me when I was at my worst that's why he doesn't want me to experience that again. It's not like I want it too, and I don't think I am ready again for it.

Since then, they became my dear friend. Magkaklase kami dahil engineering student rin siya habang ang kanyang girlfriend ay isang modelo sa sikat na agency pero nag-aaral rin ito ng business management.

And now we graduated, I am employed to the leading Real Estate Company in Australia the Ramos Real Estate Company which I didn't expect it to be Jaden's family's company.

It turns out Jasmine Mae is the daughter of the owner of the company where I am working and she's the sister of Jaden. Nalaman ko lang ito nong nakaraang linggo. What a small world indeed!

Dumiretso na ako sa coffee shop na sinasabi ni Mr. Dela Vegas. May pag-uusapan kami tungkol sa plano kong magtayo ng engineering firm sa Pilipinas. He's a dealer for a property that I was looking into for now.

For two years working under the leading real estate company in Australia, I had saved from my earnings which I will be using to build my firm. Masasabi kong medyo malaki rin ang naging sahod ko rito.
