" Why are we here, it's Thursday". I asked as I sat in front of Maya and Angel on the rooftop of our favorite restaurant/hangout. Feeling the cool spring breeze blew through the air, I took in the stunning scenery that never seems to get old.

Angel and Maya decided to drag me here during my break time because apparently, we needed to talk.

"Um, we brought you here because we wanted to see how you're do-".

"We're worried about you," Angel blurted out, interrupting Maya, making her glance side-eyed at her.

"What?" Angel shrugged "You talk too slow "

"Worried?. I didn't even do anything yet. I said, sipping on my cocktail."

"That's why we're worried,". Maya perked up. Your mom's back, you haven't seen or spoken to her in 23 years, and now she's back with your father and a new family. Then you have your best friend/boyfriend who disappeared for 7years. I'm pretty sure you're feeling type of way"

"No need to rub it in," I said sarcastically

To be honest, I didn't know what I was feeling.
With them coming back, I'm not happy, but I'm not mad about it either.

"I'm fine" I continued sipping my drink.

They both gave me quizzical looks while looking at me, making me understand that they didn't believe me.

"Seriously, I have accepted the absence of my parents in my life. It doesn't change anything because they come back, and it's the same with Zyaire. I've moved on from the past." I insisted. " in fact, I'm 'catching up' with Zyaire later, "

" Why? , And we still don't believe you, but I'm not going to push you. Just know that we're here for you when you're ready to talk.

Nothing, in particular, he asked if I wanted to hang out tonight and, I said yes " I shrugged

After that little intervention, we sat there day drinking and talking about our week until our lunch break was over. I didn't have any more meetings for the day. The contract was signed by Zyaire this morning, so I didn't have to worry about that. James picked up my car this morning, so I didn't have to worry about that either.

As I was walking down the street after lunch, trying to get to my car, I saw a young man around the age of 16 walking up to me. "Hi, are you Alexandria?" he asked

"Yes? Why?" I answered hesitantly

"I'm your brother" he stated

"Not again," I groaned. " seriously do I need to upgrade my security?. Why does everyone seem to know my precise location?"

"Did Alexis sent you" I continued, rolling my eyes

"Nah, but she seemed unhappy when she came back from visiting you, so I decided to come to try to speak with you myself. She has no idea I'm here though." he answered making me scoff

Looking at him, I noticed that he did look like Alexis and Kamron. Though him looking like them didn't justify my following decision, if it did go wrong, I could blame it on the favorable gut instinct I felt about him, "

" Oh, well, I don't care that she was upset by what I said, and I can't do this out here right now. However, I'm going home now, if you have nothing better to do you're free to come."  I spoke, " Matter of fact, aren't you supposed to be in school?". I waved my hand around
