Sitting beside my phone wondering if he's gonna call or text is something I've been doing for the past 4 years it
Should I call him ?
Or should I wait to see if he's gonna call ?
I sat buy my phone for two more hours waiting to see if it's gonna ring but it don't so I decided to do what I've been doing for the past years , I called

"Hi , what is this , my 1000th call? I said laughing slightly "I knew you wasn't gonna pick up but I wanted call you one last and if I'm being honest I don't even know why I still do , it's been four years and you don't seem to care so I don't know why I do and I know you probably won't ever listen to this but I wanted you to know that I forgive you , I forgive you for breaking your promises and I forgive you for walking out of my life just like everyone else one who's ever been in it . I don't know what I did wrong this time but I really pray you got the life you always dreamt of .

It has been four years since Zyaire went off to college and for the first two weeks everything was great, he'd call me every night, he'd talk to Ava and Miss. Simmons, everything was going great until it all stopped.
So now every year on our birthday for the last three years ,every night I stay by my phone waiting for his call but he never does ...so I call instead but he doesn't pick up so I leave a message and I know he's not dead because he calls miss Simmons and talk to Ava but just refused to talk to me so I cry myself to sleep feeling like shit because I feel like it's my fault somehow ,but this year I promised myself this is gonna be the last time I ever do it and it is .

According to the time line it would actually be 3 years into the future but it isn't ,the story is happening in the present it's just the time messed up and if I was to fix it it would be a whole lot of maths and my brain to lazy for that right now so just go with it for now please i might change it
