minho froze. and so did chan.

none of them expected that, they were both beyond shocked. so shocked that they couldn't even move.

minho gulped and looked down, biting his lip softly to ease his nerves while chan just kept staring at hyunjin who was still giggling with the other boys.

"w-what?" the older male asked quietly, his voice breaking slightly. hyunjin scoffed and folded his arms in front of his chest. "come on hyung! you've kissed before, right? what's stopping you now?"

the elder narrowed his eyes and glared at the boy. "i'm not doing it. i don't wanna force minho to do something that he doesn't want. i'd rather take the shot."

minho turned to look at chan and let out a deep sigh. he didn't want to let the others down, nor did he want chan to drink alcohol since he knew that the elder wasn't very fond of it. hyunjin was right anyway, they had kissed before so why not kissing now?

maybe it was because they'd had to do it in front of six other people that minho barely knew and the boy wasn't a big fan of pda. maybe it was because minho was too shy and he'd probably start blushing and eventually ran away if he saw chan suddenly leaning in.

but the boy really didn't want to disappoint chan's friends. he wanted to make a good impression on them.

minho took a shaky breath and with a trembling hand, he tapped chan's shoulder hesitantly. the older male turned to look at him immediately but when he noticed the younger's attempts to avoid eye contact, he knew that something was wrong.

"min? what's wrong?"

minho gulped. "i-i.. y-you don't have to take the shot.. you can k-kiss me."

chan's eyes widened. "what? are you sure? minho i don't want you to do something that will make you uncomfortable!"

minho smiled and reassuringly, he placed his hand on chan's bigger one and gave it a light squeeze. "it's alright hyung. i trust you and i trust your friends too. and hyunjinnie is right. we've kissed before."

"yah we're not just chan's friends! we're your friends as well now!" jisung suddenly yelled, making minho blush and look down shyly.

"t-thank you."

the oldest boy of the group placed his hand on minho's cheek and slowly lifted his chin. the younger boy still avoided eye contact but chan didn't mind. "are you sure about the kiss minnie? i can just take the shot."

minho smiled. "i'm sure hyung. i really don't mind kissing you. even if it's in front of the guys."

chan giggled and softly ran his hand through minho's hair, ruffling it slightly. "alright then."

the younger boy felt his heart fluttering when chan slowly started leaning in with closed eyes and a big, genuine smile on his lips. the elder placed his arms around minho's waist, pulling him closer to him while the younger hesitantly wrapped his small hands around chan's neck.

and when their lips finally collided, minho felt the world around him falling apart. the only thing he could focus on was chan's soft lips which softly touched his own. he could only feel chan's arms slowly caressing his back as his lips kept leaving small pecks on his slightly parted ones. he could only hear his heartbeat which kept increasing after every second that passed as he was completely ignoring the other boys who were now yelling and cheering loudly. he could only smell chan's sweet perfume which scented like a combination of fresh mint leaves, italian lemon zest and green apple. the amalgam only made minho get addicted to it as he could slowly feel himself getting hypnotized by the sweet aroma which had entered his nostrils.
