saying that chan was just speechless would be an understatement. he felt so shocked and disgusted and angry and furious and other negative but strong feelings.

minho was crying, his face buried in chan's shirt as his arms were tightly wrapped around the boy. he was embarrassed but he felt somewhat better for finally letting it out. he had been holding everything for so long and finally sharing it with someone who actually cares for him made him feel much better.

the older boy tightened his grip around the younger. he couldn't even find the words to describe how he felt. it was like he suddenly forgot how to speak.

he knew minho went through stuff but he didn't know what had actually happened to him. and now he felt so so bad. he felt like his world had just collapsed.

one thing he hated the most was people like minho's dad. he had always been loathing them and even considered to become a police officer when he was younger in order to arrest and then imprison all of them.

he couldn't understand why a parent would ever do such a thing to their own child. how could minho's own father blame him for all these deaths? how could he hate his own child so much? how could he ignore the fact that the boy was depressed and even tried to take his own life because he felt responsible for everything? how could he abuse him like that? how could he steal a teenage boy's innocence like this?

chan felt so angry. his blood was literally boiling and his face had turned red. he wanted to find the one who ruined his minho's life and kill him. he wanted to strangle him with his own hands and show him how much he hated him.

but he couldn't do that. not yet. not before comforting minho and letting him know how loved he is. he wanted to prove him that he wasn't worthless as he thought. he wanted to fix his life and create a better future with him in which they'd both be happy and peaceful.

the boy softly ran his fingers through minho's hair and pulled him closer to him. "it's going to be okay." he whispered in minho's ear and left a soft kiss on his temple while rubbing his back reassuringly. "i am always here for you and i will always be."

minho sniffled and lifted his head, locking his teary and puffy eyes with chan's worried and soft ones. "y-you aren't disgusted by me r-right?"

chan almost lost it when he heard him say that. "why would i ever be disgusted? of course i am not disgusted oh my god!"

minho slightly smiled at chan's words but he was still anxious and scared that the older boy would leave him too, just like everyone else did.

the younger boy just shook his thoughts away and relaxed in chan's safe arms, closing his eyes tightly. he was exhausted from all this crying and chan noticed.

"you're tired right?" the older boy softly asked and brushed some hair away from minho's face. the latter just nodded his head without moving from chan's embrace.

chan smiled. "let's take you home then. we can talk again tomorrow when you'll definitely feel better and hopefully stronger."

minho though didn't want to go home. he didn't want to leave from chan's warm hug. he quickly pulled away and looked at chan's soft eyes with a pout forming on his lips. "i don't wanna go home."

"why's that?" chan asked in concern from seeing minho's eyes getting sad again.

"i used to have nightmares every night after what happened. and now that i recalled the memories im sure im gonna have nightmares again. and im scared."

chan wanted to coo because minho was being too adorable but on the other hand he felt really really bad. he didn't want minho to be scared.

"then you can come at my place!" the blonde boy suggested and a small but still visible smile appeared on minho's lips. "if you come, you'll be able to sleep calmly since i will be holding you in my arms the entire time. i will make sure that you're safe."

minho nodded his head immediately and hugged chan tighter. "thank you for always being here for me."

chan just smiled softly at minho's words and placed his head on the top of minho's.
