"oh gosh this took longer than i thought!" chan groaned as he plopped himself on the couch, panting and sweating from his entire body in exhaustion.

"yea it did." minho muttered quietly and sat next to his boyfriend, looking down shyly.

"did you finish putting your clothes in my closet love? if you need me to make more space i can go remove more clothes so that yours fit in perfectly."

minho just nodded, his gaze still glued on the floor beneath him. "don't worry hyung, my clothes are all in and there's still space available. i don't have that many clothes anyways and neither do you."

chan chuckled lightly and placed his arm around the younger man's shoulders, pulling him closer to his body. "it's so funny how both of us only own black clothes. we won't even be able to know whose each one is."

minho giggled and pressed his head on his boyfriend's shoulder, leaning in closer and closer to his warmth. "yours are bigger. but i wouldn't mind accidentally wearing a hoodie of yours. they smell like you and your scent always comforts me."

"what do i smell like?" chan asked curiously, placing a soft kiss on minho's fluffy hair.

"hmm your scent is sweet but sometimes it feels spicy. maybe something like cinnamon and vanilla laced with cotton candy and rainbow sprinkles."

"i smell like all these things?!" chan exclaimed with widened eyes and minho just nodded, pressing his body even closer to the older man.

"yea. you do." minho mumbled quietly and closed his eyes, nuzzling his face into chan's hoodie and inhaling deeply, letting out a hum of satisfaction. "you also smell like home, channie."

chan smiled proudly and tightened his arms around the younger, holding onto him for dear life. "you smell like home too my love." he whispered into minho's ears. "and you also smell like cat food."

minho immediately pulled away and slapped chan's arms away, staring at him with annoyance radiating from his eyes. "shut up."

chan laughed loudly and pulled the younger closer to him too, ignoring minho's attempts to get away and escape from the embrace. "i'm just joking my love. you don't smell like cat food."

minho pouted and folded his arms in front of his chest, his gaze softening a little bit. "what do i smell like then?"

"you smell like caramel and maple syrup. your scent is really warm and cozy. it always calms me down." chan said and placed one of his hands on minho's cheek, caressing his soft skin tenderly. "and you too smell like home, as i already said."

minho's bright smile in response to his words made chan ascend to cloud nine. he had always loved his smile, especially the one that appeared because of him. but minho looking at him with those big doe sparkly eyes and that gorgeous smile also made chan unable to resist him and the older man instantly leaned in, closing his eyes tightly as his lips sealed with the younger man's ones.

minho kissed him back and wrapped his arms around chan's neck, pulling himself closer to him and deepening the kiss. chan just smiled softly and kept moving his lips against minho's,

"i love you hyung." minho mumbled halfway through their kiss and moaned quietly when the older boy bit his lip, requesting access to go further which he got. "i love you too minnie."

---

"sooo are we gonna sleep on the same bed?" minho asked as he stood in the middle of chan's bedroom with the older man holding his pajamas in his arms beside him. it was just twenty minutes past midnight and both boys had decided to call it a day and go rest, feeling too exhausted from the whole moving procedure that took them more than half a day.

"i mean unless you're uncomfortable sleeping with me then sure." chan shrugged and placed his pajamas on the bed, lifting his shirt up and taking it off, causing minho to blush as his eyes suddenly met with chan's broad chest.

chan noticed minho's eyes staring at his body and he giggled lightly, causing the younger man to become even more embarrassed than he was.

"you like what you see my love?"

minho bit his lip and looked away, too shy to face chan after that. "maybe." he mumbled quietly and felt his ears burning and turning red.

"there's no reason to be embarrassed minnie. you can look all you want, i don't mind." chan reassured the younger as he walked up to him, standing right in front of him and making minho have no other choice but stare right into his chest.

however, a small scar on his right ribcage caught his attention and he immediately placed his fingers on it, feeling it gently. chan gasped at the sudden contact as minho's hands were freezing cold, as always, and flinched slightly as the younger explored his skin.

"how did you get that scar channie?" minho looked at him with worried eyes and the older man just sighed in response.

"i was stabbed."

minho froze and pulled his hand off chan's body, looking at him with widened eyes and jaw agape. "you— what? when?"

chan turned around and grabbed the shirt from his pajama set and wore it, a sudden urge to cover himself raising inside him. "i was robbed on the streets when i was 15 and returning home from school."

minho pouted and hesitantly placed his arms around his boyfriend's torso, pulling him closer to his own body. "i'm so sorry you had to go through that channie. it sounds terrible and really painful."

chan hummed and closed his eyes, his head still resting on minho's shoulder. "it was painful. but i'm okay now. it's just a mere scar."

"scars are important though. they're just painful reminders of what you went through and no matter how much you try to forget the awful things that happened to you, looking at these scars makes you remember everything all over again."

chan frowned, realizing that minho was talking from experience but he quickly shook his thoughts away, not wanting the atmosphere between them to become all dark and gloomy again. they had been fine so far.

"come on minnie, let's go sleep hm? do you want to go to the bathroom? you can change there if you want and take care of everything else you need. i'll go after you."

minho pulled away from the embrace and nodded quietly, walking toward the closet to go get his pajamas. but suddenly, he stopped, turning back to look at chan again with bashful eyes. chan noticed the younger's gaze on his back and turned around, facing him. "what's up?"

"i uhh.. i just realized that i don't have any pajama top to wear because i'm used to sleeping without any shirt, at least when i'm alone."

chan chuckled as he sat on the bed now fully dressed in his pajamas. "it's fine baby. do you want to wear one of mine? i mean you can always sleep without anything on if you want but if you feel uncomfortable, you're welcome to grab anything you want from my clothes."

minho just nodded. "i'll grab something then."

chan nodded and let minho go through his closet, resisting the urge to coo when he realized that the younger had grabbed his only colorful fluffy hoodie that would definitely make him look more adorable than he already was.

after taking the hoodie in his arms, the younger went to the bathroom and closed the door behind him. chan instantly felt himself melting onto the mattress as he let out a sigh of relief and carefreeness. he felt joyous and lighthearted. finally after so many months of being in love with the younger he had managed to call him officially his. and if that wasn't enough already, he also got the unique chance to move in with him.

chan was so excited to start a life with minho. and he hoped that the younger man was excited too.
