*um hello? y'all haven't forgotten about this story right? skakskjd i know i haven't updated since august but i've been on hiatus since september 1st.. i posted about this on my message board so some of you have probably already been informed about it. this chapter was written about 2 weeks ago but i decided to wait until minho's birthday to upload it to match the mood heh. i really hope you like it :D <3*

"where's minho hyung?" jeongin asked chan as he placed the pizza on the table.

the entire house had been decorated with random colorful balloons and ribbons they found and the table was full with snacks they had ordered from a fast food restaurant nearby. felix and seungmin had made some pizza after they'd finished with the cake and once it was finally placed on the table, everything was ready for the upcoming party.

all seven boys were gathered in the living room chatting and laughing with each other. they were all waiting for minho to arrive and surprise him with the sudden party that would definitely make him more than happy, as chan had said.

"he'll be here in 20 minutes." chan replied to jeongin and nervously scratched his nape. he was really really nervous about it. he was planning something big for minho and he'd absolutely hate himself if he accidentally screwed everything up. the gift he had bought for him was very valuable and important but it wasn't as huge as the plans chan had for them two.

hyunjin noticed his hyung's worry and sympathetically walked up to him and rubbed his shoulder, slightly calming him down. "are you scared?" he asked softly and chan met his eyes as he nodded. "don't be. you know minho's gonna be more than elated with what you're planning to share with him. don't worry hyung, everything's gonna work out just great."

chan sighed. "you're right jinnie, minho's probably gonna be really happy. but i just can't stop thinking about the negative side of the coin. what if he gets mad at me? what if he never wants to talk to me again?"

the taller male scoffed and folded his arms in front of his chest. "why would he ever be mad at you? no one can be mad at someone as amazing and caring as you hyung!"

"you might be right hyunjin but minho's not like everyone else. he has gone through stuff and i don't know what his reaction might be when i tell him what i've been planning to say to him. he might get overwhelmed and try to run away. he's done this before."

hyunjin placed an arm around chan's body and pulled him in a comforting hug which the elder instantly reciprocated. "he trusts you hyung. he trusts you with his life. even if he gets overwhelmed, he won't run away. he won't ever leave you. i know it. i know that he'll stay with you even if he doesn't feel comfortable with what you want to tell him. he'll take his time and eventually, everything is gonna end up being fine again. i promise."

chan pulled away from the embrace and gave the younger a grateful smile, mentally thanking him for calming him down and helping him get rid of all his worries.

however, even though hyunjin had helped him with his nervousness, the sudden sound of the doorbell brought everything back again and chan just froze on his place, being completed unable to move.

the rest of the boys just stared at him, waiting for their hyung to go and open the door but the boy was too scared to even blink.

what if something went wrong?

what if he accidentally fucked everything up?

what if he lost minho?

no, he couldn't allow that. he'd never allow that.
