chan stared at the younger with widened eyes, not moving or saying anything. he had no idea what to do with minho. the former was so freaking mad. he looked scary.

the only thing he could do was placing his hand reassuringly on his shoulder and standing up next to him, giving him a slight smile.

"i don't care about what you did or said. you might have killed somebody but i honestly don't care. im not gonna leave you minho, even if you want me to. you're not gonna get rid of me that easily."

minho relaxed a bit after chan's words but he was still mad. he could feel his nails digging into his skin as he tightened his fists harder. he was on the verge of a break down and he wanted to prevent this from happening now. not in front of chan. he wanted to wait until he got home.

chan wanted to say something again but he didn't know if he should. he wanted to wait for minho to calm down first or else something bad could happen. but he really wanted to comfort the boy and wrap his arms around him, hold him tight. he wanted to protect him from any danger. and in this case, minho's only danger seemed to be his own self.

"minho?" chan softly spoke after some time. minho just stood there, staring at nothing in particular, his eyes dull and empty and his fingers still pressing hard against his palms. he looked emotionless and distant, chan couldn't even recognize him.

the younger of the two didn't say anything but instead, another tear rolled down on his cheek, followed by another one and then another one.

he had started breaking down, something he desperately wanted to avoid.

chan noticed minho's body shaking as more tears started running on the boy's pale face and he quickly wrapped his arms around him tightly, pulling him securely on his chest.

minho gripped on chan's shirt tightly and sobbed. he felt horrible but also safe. chan's arms made him feel secure.

the boy cried hard in chan's arms, letting out all the emotions he had been holding all this time. his tears had completely soaked chan's shirt and his grip onto the eldest's body kept getting stronger. chan felt his own eyes watering by watching minho breaking down like this. he felt so bad for the boy, he didn't know what to do to stop his tears.

so he just let him cry in his arms for as long as he needed in order to calm down.

---

after almost an hour, minho had finally started calming down. his grip on chan's shirt never loosened and chan's arms never left minho's body either. they were both sitting down, having their arms wrapped around each other. they weren't talking, they weren't moving, they were just enjoying each other's warmth, finding some confort in each other's company.

the elder of the two was staring at the stars that had started appearing in the sky. his one arm was wrapped around minho's body and his other one was softly caressing the boy's hair.

he felt sad but also happy for some strange reason. he really hated seeing minho like this but he felt kind of relieved that minho would finally open up to him and maybe tell him what happened to him that made him hate himself so much.

he also felt really content with minho in his arms. he wished he had the younger laying in his arms like this every day. he wanted to spend every single second of his life with minho. he had no idea when his feelings for the boy grew that much but he didn't really care. he cared so much for him, so much that he'd even give his life for the boy.

he suddenly realized that he didn't just like minho. he loved him.
