I let out a small huff and frowned at the computer screen in front of me. I was struggling very bad with writing the witness statement I had to have handed in by Monday. I knew what I should write, but I didn't know... how to write it.
I dragged my hands over my face in time for a heavy and warm sensation to land over my legs making me look beside my computer screen as Sunghoon spread his duvet out over my legs, over my own duvet. As he realized I was watching him he just smiled at me.
"You were shivering, so I thought you might need some more warmth," he excused making me softly smile at him. He really was desperate to make everything up, "so why are you huffing?"
"I'm just struggling with writing a paper," I excused and gestured to my screen, making him hum and walk down to the head of my bunk and look onto my computer screen as he placed his arms on the edge of the bunk.
"Hmm... I can't help you with that," he muttered.
"Of course you can't. It's English," I let out a small laugh as he just nodded at me.
"You want me to keep you company?" he questioned, as he looked over at me with sparkling eyes.
"Not right now," I shook my head at him making his face falter, "I have to get this done before Monday and I just want to get it over with, if I have to be completely honest," I sighed and he just hummed at me.
"But you know... if you need a break from it, you just come to me, right?" he stated and I just nodded at him as he played with the corner of my duvet, "promise?"
"Mhm," I hummed at him, "I'll come the moment I say 'fuck this' and need a break."
"But you promised me I would be first," he smirked at me making me stare at him in confusion for a moment as his smirk just grew wider as he looked up at me.
"Oh," I sighed at him before dragging my hand over his cheek, momentarily turning his head, "stop with those dirty thoughts already. It's not happening."
"I know," he nodded at me, "I'll give you the time you need. Just keep in mind it's not because I need it... it's because well... no I can't say it," he shook his head as a sheepish smile spread on his face.
"No, you've pulled yourself out in this yourself. Say it," I nudged his shoulder and he just shook his head with a wide smile on it.
"I can't tell you yet," he refused, "I'll tell you when I know I've made more up for it. When we're back to where we were before I messed up."
"Hmm," I hummed at him.
"Anything else you need?" he questioned with a small smile.
"For you to act sort of normally and not try to kiss my ass at any chance you get," I smiled at him.
"I'm not kissing your ass," he shook his head at me, "yet," he wiggled his eyebrows at me.
"Honestly what have gotten into you?" I sighed before glancing over at him, "you suddenly become so much more confident in your actions, to the point where you begin making dirty remarks."
"Sorry, I'll stop," he excused with a small smile, "but I just want to make sure you know I want it to be alright once again. I really want you back."
"I... never left," I frowned down at him as he just ran a hand through his hair and licked his lips before looking back up at me.
"I just..." he sighed and tapped his fingers on my duvet as he looked around the room before looking back to me, "I want you to seek me out when you need comfort, like you used to. I want you to be alright with me holding you throughout the night to keep you warm. I miss your small little random kisses that would make me completely red. I miss all of it, and I know it's my own fault. I respect and understand that you have to built up to it once again, but I just hate myself for treating you like I did."
"Woah, woah. Don't hate yourself," I widened my eyes at him as he just let out a huff and placed his chin on his folded arms.
"But I do," he muttered, "and it's all because I took all your sweet and cute little gestures for granted and first realized after I messed up and now I crave them so much. It just hurts to see you not fully trusting me anymore. I want it to just be over with, so that I can go to bed after washing up and you're already asleep under my duvet or so that you can just randomly call out my name and once I turn to look at you you just give me a small kiss before running off."
"Hoon?" I spoke up with a small laugh making him let out a hum and look up at me, "you sound absolutely smitten."
"I'm head over heels," he nodded at me with a small smile making me let out a small laugh at him, "why is that funny?"
"It's not funny, you're just cute," I clarified letting his small smile reveal his teeth as well as he lifted his head from his arms.
"Is there anything you need before I go away?" he questioned making me go silent as I thought about it and held up my pinky, "what?"
"Promise me... next time I fall down, you will be there for me," I stated and he immediately nodded at me.
"Of course," he assured and linked his pinky with mine.
"Even before you know what it all is about," I clarified and he nodded once more.
"I'm not gonna screw up again," he assured with a small nod, "I promise."
"Now shoo," I urged and let my pinky slip from his, before he just nodded and rushed over to the door, "and Hoon?"
"Hm?" he hummed and raised both his eyebrows as he looked over at me.
"The rules of a pinky promise says, that if you break the promise the other gets to crush or cut off your pinky," I warned him making a small frown appear on his face before he grinned widely.
"Don't worry, that won't be necessary," he beamed before rushing out of the bedroom as I let out a small laugh at him.
I truly had missed him a lot.
