There had been this mess in the dorm for the past few hours, mainly because I had been feeling sick since morning and our manager had been called in to try and figure everthing out. Like how we did when Jungwon got sick a few days prior, but his was only for a few days and he was feeling alright now.
"And you're sure you don't need anything?" Sunghoon questioned as he sat down on the edge of the bed, softly pushing my hair out of my face.
"For you to lay down with me," I muttered and he only snickered quietly.
"According to our manager I'm not even allowed to sit this close to you," he reminded softly, "in case you have covid."
"I don't have-" I started and he immediately cut me off.
"You didn't get sick last time... and right now you're showing at least every symptom any of us showed last time when we got covid," he quietly reminded, "still feeling bad?"
"Yeah," I muttered quietly with a nod.
Smiling softly he tugged the duvet tighter around me before eventually standing up and just softly rubbing my forehead before he quietly left the room once again.
"How many times do I have to tell you not to go in and check on her?" our manager hissed on the other side of the door.
"If she is positive then so am I. We literally sleep in the same bed," Sunghoon's voice calmly replied on the other side, "she is really not feeling well, and I am worried. She's only ever had a small cold or a tiny fever. I've never seen her this sick."
"Hyung we need as many negtive members as possible," Jungwon sternly reminded from the other side of the door, "we're all worried for noona, but if she's testing positive then we have a problem if you've been too close to her."
"I just want to assure she's feeling alright," Sunghoon sighed deeply from the other side.
"Go make her some tea," Jungwon urged and I heard more rustling on the other side of the door.
I had turned around in bed feeling myself sweat more and more by the second, but I knew I wasn't allowed to get away from under my duvet. My throat was sore, my nose stuffed and it hurt everytime I moved, even when I blinked it only made my headache worse.
"Love?" a small voice spoke up from the door that slowly opened.
"You didn't listen to them," I whispered quietly only earning a small chuckle as the door closed once again.
"I brought you some of that tea my mom makes for you," Sunghoon announced as he sat down on the bed, "I mixed it up with some of Jay's honey to help your throat a bit, but other than that, no sugar, no milk, just like you prefer it."
"Go," I whispered as I turned back around to him and he immediately looked at me funnily as he placed the mug down on the nightstand, "you're gonna get sick."
"Hey, if it means we get sick together then I honestly don't mind," Sunghoon assured as he sat down on the floor and sit with his face right in front of mine, while his fingertips neatly trailed over my forehead and moved some hair away once again, "won't you love that? Both of us laying in bed and just being all pathetic and crybabies together."
"If I have covid-" I started and he just shook his head softly.
"So?" he questioned with a small chuckle, "then we'll have covid together."
"You're not even allowed to be in here," I reminded him before letting out a small cough and immediately covering my mouth with the duvet.
"We've slept beside each other, if I'm gonna get infected then I already am," he reminded softly with a small laugh once again, "now tell me... do you need anything?"
"No..." I slowly trailed off and he immediately snickered softly, "I don't," I insisted and pulled the duvet up over my mouth as I let out a few coughs.
"Mhm... I don't believe you," he pointed out with a small smirk, "because if I know you right... you really want kisses and cuddles right now."
"But I'm sick," I croaked out and he only nodded in return.
"And that is supposed to stop me? Come on Hana... you know that's not how this relationship works," he chuckled in amusement as I squinted my eyes slightly at him, "you tell me what to do and I most likely won't do it."
"You'll have to one day," I reminded him and he let out a small laugh before nodding at me.
"I know... but these minor things... I don't think so," he chuckled and I quietly stared at him, "what is it?" he questioned softly as he brushed some hair away from my face, "despite you looking beautiful?"
"Shut up. I'm a gross and snotty mess," I reminded him and was about to do a sniff, had I not outed myself as a snotty mess just moments before.
"My gross and snotty mess," Sunghoon clarified, making me roll my eyes at him, "oh come on. You are!"
"I might be, but you sound too cheesy," I scrunched up my nose before having to do a sniff.
"The manager said something about you going to get a test in like half an hour," he muttered and I hummed quietly, "we could at least... you know in case it is positive."
"I can't really stop you from insiting on getting under the duvet, can I?" I sighed and he slowly smiled before quietly shaking his head at me, "alright then."
Happily Sunghoon lifted the duvet and scooted under it to lay beside me. Once he turned on his side I was just met by his big goofy grin starring right at me.
"Sunghoon?" I questioned and he immediately hummed, "if I go down... you go down."
"That's exactly how this is gonna go," he nodded before pulling me in towards him.
We laid in silence for half an hour, where I mainly tried to get some sleep, but didn't get any. By the end of the thirty minutes our manager had wandered into the room to find Sunghoon and I laying in bed. This had caused for Sunghoon to get an immediate scolding, before I was escorted outside in the car to go get a covid test, which eventually turned out to be positive.
So here we go again...
