Late-mid September 2024

I glanced around at the boys in amusement. For being as loud as they usually were, it was incredible how introverted they could get the moment they were faced with a social event. They all sat looking around awkwardly, only Jay seemed to be a bit social, talking to someone who had approached him.

"Scusi," I smiled gently at the older woman happily chatting to myself. She immediately nodded and waved it off once she noticed what I had noticed as well. Coming with a small gentle comment before happily laughing and turning to the man behind her.

I grabbed my glass of Prosecco from the table before turning to one of the beverage tables. Glancing over the different bottles drinks, eventually grabbing the one that was nearest. Raising my eyebrows in surprise when I noticed it was ice cold - somehow.

Quickly I rushed over to the couch, stopping behind it and extending the beer bottle ahead of me and nudging it into Sunghoon's hand.

"Now, does any of you need anything while I'm back here? Any drinks I need to go ask for? Snacks?" I questioned in disbelief and glanced around at each anti-social face staring up at me.

"Can I get-" Riki had started, Jay interrupting his conversation to turn back towards him.

"You surely can't wait another few months before getting any alcohol," Jay remarked before turning back to the conversation he was in the midst of.

I bit back a small laugh and had to purse my lips as I shrugged over at Riki. I turned to look at the other boys.

"Anything?" I repeated, "perhaps some social capabilities?"

"I don't speak English or Italian, how am I supposed to socialise?" Sunoo questioned and I snickered at him.

"It's not like you even speak to each other. You've been sitting in silence for the past twenty minutes," I pointed out, letting my eyes land on Heeseung, "he's not getting more to drink," I remarked and got a few snickers, "even Jake knows English and he's sitting here. Train your English with Jake. Late time guys, do you need anything? Wonie?"

"I don't think so..." Jungwon murmured quietly and shook his head.

"Oh, come on. You must need something," I pointed out and he simply shrugged, "we've had a busy day, you're more exhausted than the rest of us. Are you sure you're not just being polite right now?" I questioned in amusement.

"I'm fine noona, thanks," he assured with a small smile, craning his neck back to give me a last assuring nod, "I'm good."

I hummed quietly and turned to look at Sunghoon, bending down slightly to murmur something to him.

"As dazzling as you look, I do think you'd look better wandering about and trying to talk to people," I murmured and he turned his head to arch a brow at me, "scared slope nose?"

"My English is bad," he reminded and I frowned slightly.

"Only as bad as you make it out to be," I pointed out and scrunched up my nose, "it's adorable. They'll start smiling in no time if you tried to start a conversation with someone."

"I'm busy... thank you," he remarked with a small smile. I huffed before standing up straight once again.

I glanced around one last time, eventually letting out a small sigh before wandering back to where I was before. Continuing my conversation with the Italian woman from earlier, who profusely kept on insisting that I got my glass of Prosecco refilled every time I had a sip left in my cup.

So by the time I had noticed I might be laughing a tad bit louder than I usually did I made sure to sip from my glass less often, ensuring that I was not so tipsy by the time I had been collected by our manager and told we were to leave.

A hoard of people were waiting outside the entrance by the time we got out of the building. Cameras flashing and fans calling out for us. I was too busy trying to figure out who Jay had been talking to and about what they had been talking, to even give the cameras any notice. I did manage to multitask as much as raising a hand and waving at the fans that had shown up.

"You can't keep a secret from me forever Jay. I'll find out one way or the other!" I warned as I was hurried into the first car, only getting a chuckle out of Jay.

"It wasn't that interesting. You make it out to be more than it was!" Jay called out.

I let out a small laugh as I wandered down to the back of the car and sat down in one of the seats in the back. Pulling off my jacket and draping it over my legs before buckling my seatbelt.

"Hello," I cooed out as Sunoo and Sunghoon both were rushed into the car. Heeseung eventually following as the last one. Face bright red as a tomato, I couldn't help but let out a small laugh.

"Shut up," Heeseung murmured in a sulky voice, quickly getting out his earphones from his coat and shoving them in his ears. Sunoo doing the same almost immediately.

"Long day," I remarked and glanced out the window beside me. Eventually turning to Sunghoon, who sat in the seat beside me, "done being busy?"

"Not really. No," he shook his head with a small smile.

"My, you sure are busy these days," I remarked and he hummed, still keeping a small smile on his face.

"You're keeping me busy," he excused quietly, reaching his hand over to intertwine his fingers with mine, "I love listening to you speaking English and Italian."

"Oh, you do?" I questioned in amusement and he nodded quietly, "is that what you've been doing all night? Listening on the conversations I had?"

"Yeah."

"You know... you would've been able to hear me better if you had tried to walk around with me," I pointed out and he shrugged with a small shake of the head, "no?"

"I had to be able to admire you from afar as well. Seems a bit more romantic," he excused casually, "you looked really pretty tonight."

"What are you trying to get from me?" I questioned in amusement and squinted my eyes at him.

"Nothing," he excused, continuing to smile at me.

"Hm... what a power couple we are then. If I'm as pretty as you say, and with that face of yours," I pointed out and he let out a small laugh, running his free hand through his hair, "what do you wanna do when we get back to the hotel?"

"Pack..." he stated and I nodded quietly, "a movie?"

"Food?" I offered and he nodded quietly.

"Are you hungry?"

"I'm always hungry. You should know that."

"We'll order two big meals, watch a movie maybe... yeah... sleep a long time," he pointed out and I nodded with a small smile, "alright?"

"Just fine."
