You feel a beam of light illuminate your face. You lift your head and turn to the other side, placing your head on an unexpectedly soft surface.

'Wait. Aren't I on the roof?'

You flutter your eyes open a bit and see that you're wrapped in white linen sheets. The smell of fresh laundry fills your nose. Your eyes widen as you force yourself up and realize that you're back in your bed. After a sigh of relief you scan your eyes around the room and notice that nobody is in their beds. You fling yourself to the side of your bed and place your feet on the ground, standing up and still full of confusion. You walk through the room and into the hallway.

"Y/n" Norman says from behind you. You turn your head and see the platinum haired boy smile at you.

"Norman, where is everyone?" You ask, furrowing your eyebrows in confusion.

"They're already downstairs" He replies, "I know you have a hard time sleeping so I figured we'd just leave you".

"Thanks" You say with a smile, "What time is it anyway?". You wipe your eyes as you speak. Norman faces his palm towards you signaling for you to stay in place. He then walks down the hallway a bit and ducks his head into Mom's room.

"It's 9:23" He says as he turns his head back to you. Your eyes widen as you realize how late you slept in. You rush back into the bedroom and grab your clothes and hairbrush, quickly getting dressed and brushing your hair before putting your shoes on and running down the stairs. You rush into the dining room while trying to lace your shoes as you walk.

"Hey Y/n! You're awake!" Emma says as you walk over to her while she washes some plates.

"Did I miss breakfast?" You ask with a nervous smile.

"Yeah, sorry about that" She says apologetically, "But I think we saved you some coffee. Go grab a mug and get some". You nod and walk over to a tall cabinet, opening the wooden doors with glass panels. You pick a random white mug and close the doors again. You then walk over to the coffee pot sitting on the counter. You lift the pot and start to pour it into your mug.

"Morning" Ray says as he walks up to the toaster that's sitting next to the coffee pot.

"Morning" You say in response as you finish pouring the coffee and put the pot back on the counter. "You don't happen to know how I ended up in my bed, do you?". You turn your head and look at Ray, who has two pieces of bread in his hands.

"You fell asleep on the roof last night" He says as he places the slices into the slots in the toaster.

"Yeah no shit, how did I get from the roof to my bed" You say with sarcasm as you lean against the counter. Ray presses the button on the toaster, making the two slices of toast retreat into it.

"Oh I carried you back through the window and just put you there" He explains with a shrug. You take a sip from your coffee, which is lukewarm now since you woke up an hour or two after it was brewed.

"Hopefully nobody saw us" You say, "We'd be in huge trouble if someone did, and that would only make matters worse".

"I don't think I saw anyone awake" Ray replies. The slices of bread pop out of the toaster and he grabs them. He takes a bite out of a slice and wraps the other slice in a napkin. You take another sip of your coffee while you watch him finish wrapping it.

Instead of him taking it with him like you thought he would, he holds his hand out to you with the slice wrapped neatly in a napkin.

"Hm? What for?" You ask.

"Well you haven't eaten yet" Ray says as he holds his hand out even further. You sigh and grab the slice from him. He smirks at you before turning his body and walking away. You look down at the slightly charred toast in your hand before peeling the napkin off and taking a bite.
