How was this true. In what world could any of this make sense. Apparently this one.

I found myself walking through the school halls and stood in front of Ms Dowling's office door.

I don't even know where Beatrix is, she's either still where I left her, trying to find me or she just left.

Do I knock or walk right in? Considering the circumstances, the second option was acceptable.

I decided on knocking but that didn't matter as the door opened by itself. I saw Ms Dowling at her desk giving me a confused look.

"Is everything alright? Shouldn't you be in class?" Learning wasn't really a top priority for me right now.

When I was talking to Beatrix she explained to me about all the different places in the other world.

Stella had told me before, sometime last week, how she was the princess on Solaria and her mother was the Queen. It was cool knowing I lived with an actual princess.

Alfea was in Solaria, so technically Stella was their princess.

Beatrix then explained how Sky was also the prince of Eraklyon, which Stella had also told me. Although, she left out the part about his father being dead.

Then she told me about Domino.

"Ms Dowling?" I was looking at the ground wondering if I was ready for the answer to the question I was about to ask.

"Yes Ayla?" I looked up to meet her eyes, "Am I, or is it possible that I am the last heir to the throne of Domino?"

She didn't reply for a minute. Suffocating silence filled the room as she looked at me, processing, or trying to process what I had just asked her.

After that minute that felt like an hour, she rose to her feet but didn't meet my gaze.

"Why are you asking that?" Now she was acting weird, "Domino, is it possible eventhough it was destroyed o-"

"Yes exactly. Domino was destroyed in a war almost.. 16 years ago." Now she was looking at me.

I went to ask if the king and queen had a child, a daughter, but of course something ruined it.

"Ms Dowling! A burned one, it attacked Silva on one of the rounds, everyones in the cafeteria area," I looked around to be faced with Riven.

"We will continue this," She said before she hurried out of the room.

"Burned ones?" What the hell was one of those.
"You still don't know, they're what's outside the barrier. The danger people talk about." I just nodded, not making eye contact again.

"Firefly I-" I cut him off. I didn't want his stupid excuses.

"Stop. You don't get to talk to me as if nothing happened or even be around me. Why, you knew what she did and you still paraded around with her. Right in front of me." I wasn't upset, I was just confused and annoyed at him.

"Beatrix, she just likes me. It was pathetic and stupid of me I know but I didn't want to lose the one person who did," Is he joking.

"Riven, she isn't the only person who likes or care about you. How can you not see, you have always had Sky and you have me," He just looked guilty.

As he should.

Yes he was an arsehole but we had this understanding. It was harmless jokes between us and then that night, I thought he cared and actually considered me a friend.

"I didn't realise that at the time, and I'm sorry that word got out about you but I did try to stop Dane and I warned him. That dick." sudden anger overcame his features.

"Look, me and Beatrix are on somewhat alright terms. We spoke, she explained a lot to me. But you," Now I was looking at him in the eyes.

"You still went with her before you even knew all the reasons. You knew the bad shitty parts and you still betrayed my trust after making me think you actually cared," I was upset now.

"I do care. I just made a mistake, but I tried to help you, I always will." I was giving in, I knew deep down he cared.

I want to trust him because I did before but eventhough I am alright with Beatrix he doesn't know the full story.
So until he decides to leave her and realise that she's not all he needs, then we can start somewhere.

"Silva is downstairs right now, I have too much going on. We should go," he didn't say anything, just followed as I walked out of the room.

-20 minutes later-

It looked like everyone was in the cafeteria or out on the quad. Some lessons were on but most were cancelled so because of what had happened.

Everyone was talking about the attack. It was scary shit.

When I got there me and Riven split different ways but I saw him looking at me. Flora told me how there hadn't been an attacked in over a decade.

That's why this was such a big deal. Most of the people here wouldn't have even heard of an attack in their lifetime, let alone witness someone we all knew be the victim of one.

Why couldn't Ms Dowling just tell me about everything straight up. I sounded so dumb not knowing anything about this place, while everyone else was fully aware.

Secrets upon secrets. That's all I was getting.

I saw Flora look across the room away from the group we had formed with Musa, Aisha and Stella. She looked almost sad which was unusual.

I looked behind me to where she was looking. Dane. With Beatrix. No Riven...

She noticed me looking, "One minute he's so sweet and hanging out with me and the next," she was stood beside me now, "Hes hanging out with that bitch as if she actually cares about him."

Okay, swearing Flora. Haven't seen that in its true form yet.

"She's got everyone wrapped around her finger, he'll realise what's best for him in the end." She attempted a smile but it was full of hurt.

After some time we decided to head back to the suite once people started leaving.
We were told Silva was going to be fine because of Floras dad.

On the walk back I debated on telling them everything Beatrix told me. I decided they already know so much and I trust them the most. It makes sense.

"Ayla, I forgot to ask but where were you second period?" Musa's question made this the perfect opportunity to tell them everything.

-1 hour later-

It was now half 12. And I had told them everything almost.

"So you're a princess. A fire fairy one from a destroyed land then," Aisha  summed that much up.

"I've definitely heard of Domino while talking to my mother at some point," Well Stella being a princess, I was hoping she knew about it. I just nodded.

"I mean this great Ayla, honestly, but how exactly does Beatrix know all of this about you?" The answer to Musa's question, I don't even know if I believe it but I have nothing else.

Here goes nothing. Well everything.

Look at me. Writing this chapter during my lessons and managing to COMPLETE all of the work.

I enjoyed this chapter. We got to see sad vulnerable Riven. I like him.
