{Riven's POV}
This was so entertaining for me. She sat there at a loss for words thinking of how to answer their questions without it sounding exactly how she didn't want it too.
Stella pointed out that she instigated the events of last night so I moved closer to her, "Yeah are you sure it was only drunk you that made that decision?" Then I winked at her.
I was too busy waiting for a reply that I didn't hear anyone say anything, so when they all turned around I got confused. Ayla's eyes widened and so I look behind me to see him.
I clenched my hands into fists. His face made me sick, how could he walk around so casually after pulling that shit. With Ayla of all people, she does not deserve to be treated like that: no one does.
The anger was welling up in me and Sky noticed, "You all good Riv?" he looked at me expectantly as if he already knew I was the one who beat him up.
I didn't turn around to him, "I'm good." Jackson made eye contact and I gave him the deadliest glare, warning him not to come near any of us. With that he exited the cafeteria all together.
"Damn you're really that intimidating?" I turned to face Sky, "Shut up." Ayla looked at me.
Everyone seemed to dismiss my behaviour and resumed to their conversations, "Riven, you know it's fine. I'm fine and he's not coming near me again." She was trying to comfort me and make me feel better when I should be doing that for her.
Why was she making sure I was okay? Actually, why was I this angry with the situation? She's only my friend and of course I care for her but it shouldn't affect me this badly. I just don't want anyone to hurt her again.
I wanted to make sure of it so badly, but why.
{Ayla's POV}
Dinner was finally over. I'm surprised that the only bad thing was only seeing Jackson. Makes a change.
When I saw him it made me feel uneasy, but then I saw Riven and the angry he showed towards him, it showed me he genuinely cared and that I would be safe with him.
I did feel safe with him.
And now we are back in the suite. When we got back, Musa had left within 10 minutes saying she was just going out for a bit, I'm certain she's gone to see Sam.
Sky let us know at dinner how Silva was getting on. Turns out he's doing really well but apparently to completely eliminate you dying from the scratch, the burned one must be killed.
Nobody knew when that would be so it was just a waiting game. Him and Riven went back to their suite after dinner. Before Riven left, he told me to tell him if Jackson ever came up to me again.
Not going to lie but it was kind of very hot, Riven protective and angry. But any normal person knows he's attractive so it doesn't matter much.
Stella stayed in her room all evening and so did Flora, but she watered all the plants before she did. Aisha and I also retreated to our room for the evening.
She was switching between reading, music and homework. My parents rang me while I was doing some school work, but I spoke to them anyway in the living room for quite some time.
They sounded so supportive and happy that I was finally happy. I didn't want to ruin that for them but I knew sometime soon they were going to find out everything. When the call ended it was 9pm.
I decided to make some cereal to take into my room to eat while finishing up my homework. Musa walked in quietly just as I was putting away the milk. She saw me and her face showed that she knew she was going to be questioned.
