In which he's a nonstop flirt

"Go give him his food, Y/n," My older brother, T'Challa spoke to me about the white wolf that had taken refuge in our country of Wakanda.

I was given the order by T'Challa to watch over him and bring him anything he needs. Didn't know I signed up to be a stranger's servant when I offered to help my siblings with whatever they needed, but I didn't really mind this task.

The super soldier was quite handsome. He was also very polite and he seemed so grateful for the smallest of gestures. It made my day to see him smile up at me when I brought him his meals everyday.

"Good morning, Mr. Barnes," I teased as I walked into his hut. He always rolled his eyes and gave me a little smile when I called him by his last name. "I've brought your food."

"How many times do I have to tell you-" I cut him off before he could finish his sentence.

"It's Bucky." I mocked in a stern tone and a fake serious face just to get a rise out of him. He pretended to be annoyed but he always reminded me that our banter was his favorite part of the day. But I could tell that already by the smiles I put on his face.

"I feel like you do it just so that I can say that." He attempted to grab his food from me with a smirk. After seeing the smug face he wore, I held the tray tighter, not letting it out of my grip.

"C'mon," A chuckle escaped his lips. "I'm at a disadvantage."

I looked down at his limbless shoulder, almost forgetting that the guy didn't have an arm. I felt slightly bad and allowed him to take his food, not wanting him to have to struggle anymore.

"Gave up so easily?" He raised his brow.

"It's not a fair fight."

I could still see a glimmer of mischief in his eyes and I wondered what he was thinking in that pretty little head of his. He simply stared up at me from his sitting position and I suddenly became aware of the fact that it was just the two of us and he was just... staring.

I could feel like cheeks heat up as his eyes took in every single detail of my face and I almost choked when I saw his eyes go from my face down to my body where he raked me up and down.

"Shameless." I muttered, almost choking on my words. I wanted to act sassy and unbothered but I found that very hard to do seeing his tongue graze over his lips as he stared at me.

God I wanted to kiss those lips.

He slightly chuckled at my statement and stood off his bed. He was then only a few inches away. He looked down at me with no longer a mischievous smile but a sort of.. longing instead.

After a few seconds of silence, I mustered up the courage to reach up and touch him. I laid my hands on either side of his face as his right hand pulled me closer by my waist. I finally pulled him down for a kiss.

His lips landed on mine softly, his arm holding me as close as possible. I'd been longing for this moment for so long. The last thing I expected was for him to feel the exact same way.

We held each other in place, lips meeting over and over in a hungry, sloppy kiss.

"Bucky," I spoke after separating our lips.

"Oh now you wanna say my name." He smirked.

"Fuck you!" I exclaimed in laughter.

"By all means," he gestured over to his bed. "In all honesty, I wouldn't mind."

I laughed once more. He leaned in and gave me a soft and slow kiss. His line was completely cheesy but he looked nice while he said it so I let it slide. When our lips parted, he just watched me. Almost like he couldn't believe what he'd just done.

"You want more honesty?" He asked, to which I nodded. He paused for a moment, a thoughtful look upon his face, before he continued. "I've wanted to do this for a while."

I tilted my head slightly and raised my brows. "Really?"

"Ever since the day I met you." He smiled. "You immediately caught my attention. You're beautiful and intelligent and sweet as pie."

"Wow," I chuckled. "Y'know sometimes I forget you're from the 40's. I think I've only ever heard the term 'sweet as pie' in movies."

He playfully rolled his eyes. "I'm sorry, ma'am, I'm not exactly caught up on 21st century slang."

"I'll catch you up then," I unwrapped my arms from around his neck and started walking out of the hut. "Spend more time with me and my siblings and you'll be caught up nicely."

"I think I'm still more caught up with 21st century slang than your brother. No disrespect to the king."

His statement earned a laugh from me. "It's okay, Shuri and I bother him about it all the time. We're scared for our country, it's ran by an idiot."

Our banter was cut short by another voice. "You two are making fun of T'Challa without me?"

My younger sister walked toward us, she and I immediately doing our sibling handshake that we shared with our brother. We all walked together, laughing and poking fun at both Bucky and T'Challa. We spent the rest of the morning teaching Bucky more about our country and what sets us aside from his and others.

It wasn't until noon that we realized that we completely left Bucky's meal in his hut and he hadn't eaten all morning.

"I'll go get us lunch," Shuri proceeded to close the holographic video of T'Challa getting dropped by his own suit. "I'll return in a bit."

She left the room leaving Bucky and I alone. I hadn't been alone with Bucky all morning until this moment. Our kiss returned to the front of my mind as I looked at the handsome man that stood before me.

Without saying a word, he stepped in front of me and leaned down to kiss me for the second time today. His hand grabbed my hip firmly and pulled me into him.

"Mr. Barnes, my sister could walk in at any moment."

"It's Bucky," he smirked.
