Peter Tingle

In which he never makes time for you :(

"I'll come by yours at 7:00, we'll get a shit ton of snacks at the store, and sneak into the movie." Ned explained to you.

You were his best female friend.... Wait, no, you were his only female friend, and since your boyfriend, Peter, was always so busy, Ned came to you for things that he'd usually go to Peter for.

You didn't mind though. It'd brought you and Ned closer together and who could be mad at that? After all, you and Ned were the only people who knew that Peter was Spiderman. That in itself brought along an unbreakable bond.

You and Ned were on FaceTime talking over tomorrow's plans. There was this Star Wars movie that he was really excited to see and even though you weren't that into Star Wars, you loved seeing him get so happy over small things in the movies.

You even helped him rebuild his Lego death star.

Suddenly there was a knock on the window and outside it was Spiderman himself. You told Ned to hold on and happily opened your window, not having talked to your boyfriend in hours. Before entering, he pecked your lips through the mask.

As he climbed in and shut the window behind him you grabbed your phone and showed Ned that Peter was there.

"I'm on FaceTime with Spiderman!" He exclaimed. "Y/n, why don't you have FaceTime photos enabled?!"

"Bye Ned." Peter said and hung up the phone.

"Hey," you pouted. "We were talking about our plans for tomorrow."

He finally pressed the button and exited his suit, his half baked body in full view. You went over to your closet and handed him the T-shirt and sweatpants that you stole from his room.

"I was wondering where this was," he said looking down at the shirt. "You little thief."

"I like wearing my boyfriend's clothes." You said with a smile.

You sat on the bed as he changed into his clothes and when he was done, he took a seat next to you. You leaned into him and he wrapped his arms around you.

"Pete, do you think you can take a day off from being Spiderman and hang out with me and Ned tomorrow?"

You fiddled with the bracelet he'd gotten you for my birthday.

"Crime doesn't take off days, babe." You pushed yourself off of him, upset.

"Peter, that's what police are for." You argued. "I just want to spend time with my boyfriend."

"I know and I'm sorry, but it's my responsibility."

You rolled your eyes and stood off your bed, not wanting to hear the same excuse over and over again. He stood after you, a look of sadness on his face.

"Baby, don't be like this." He grabbed your waist. You looked up at him, still pouting. He kissed your forehead and gave you a small smile.

"You're cute when you're being a baby." He said and fully grinned.

You tried to push yourself off of him, but he just held you closer, burying his face in your neck.

"Pete, I'm serious," you spoke. "I really want you to come. If something happens then you can change into your Spidey suit in the movie theater bathroom."

He brought his head back up and looked at you. You stuck your bottom lip out, hoping it'd convince him to go. He smiled again and pecked your lips.

"Fine," he playfully rolled his eyes, making you smile widely. "Anything for my girl."

You wrapped your arms around his neck, happy that he can finally spend time with you.

Or so you thought.

"Baby, Mr. Stark needs me. It's an emergency." Peter spoke into the phone.

"Yeah, okay, Peter." You said, wanting to hang up the phone.

"Babe, please don't be angry with me."

He was trying to fit as many pet names in the conversation as possible to try to make you feel better. Usually it did, but this time you were beyond pissed. It always seemed like this Spiderman thing was more important to him than his own girlfriend.

You were sick of seeing him only at night and usually when you were about to go to sleep.

"I gotta to go," you spoke as Ned motioned you over. "Bye, Peter."

"No, babygirl, please don't hang up."

"Go save the world, Pete, the movie's starting."

"It doesn't start until eigh-" he was cut off by your pressing of the end call button. You silenced your phone and put it in your pocket as you walked up to Ned, faking a smile.

"Where's Peter?" He asked as you made your way to the line for a ticket.

"Not coming." You said, disappointment etched in your tone.

"I'm sorry, Y/n." Ned gave a sympathetic smile and a pat on the shoulder.

"It's okay." You gave him a small smile, which is the same one you'd fake for the rest of the night.

You hadn't really been paying attention to the movie at all. There were times where Ned would jump or gasp in excitement, but you just didn't share it. Your mind was so gone, thinking about Peter.

On one hand you were angry at him for canceling, but on another you understood how much this "internship" meant to him. Being a superhero's girlfriend is tough.

"Is this seat taken?" An all too familiar voice asked. You looked up and there was Peter taking a seat next to you.

"Dude, you just missed the best part!" Ned exclaimed, earning a shush from the people in the back of you guys.

"Sorry I'm late," he grabbed your hand and kissed it. "Won't happen again."

You grabbed either side of his face and kissed him, your lips melting into his. When you separated, you kept his bottom lip in between your teeth before letting it go.

"Y/n," he whispered in shock. "That was hot."

You shook your head and giggled, turning back to the movie. Not to pay attention, but to bother Peter.

He stared at you for a while longer, you pretending not to notice. You grabbed his face, still not looking and squished his face together, turning it to the movie.

"Why are you staring at me?" You asked.

"That, what you just did, I want that." He spoke. "Gimmie that."

"Start coming places with me and you'll get that."

"I'll just quit being Spiderman then."

You giggled. "Nah, you look pretty hot in your suit."

When you looked at him, he was wide eyed. You smirked and pecked his lips, knowing that he wanted more than just a peck.

"Eyes on the screen, Pete."
