Part 1- In which you're his assistant and he can't keep his eyes off of you.

"Here's your coffee," I said walking down into what I like to call, Tony's happy place. "Not that you'll actually pay any mind to it until it's ice cold."

"Ha ha." He said sarcastically. He was working on a yellow suit. By the added cleavage, I'm guessing it's for a woman. I thought it was pretty neat, considering bright yellow is my favorite color.

I've been working as Tony Stark's assistant for almost a year. It's been hard, considering Tony's a giant pain in the ass, but its not as bad as I thought it'd be.

He's actually a big softie.

I turned to walk back upstairs, when he called my name. I turned on my heels to face him, ready for whatever he was to say next.

"Did you switch your perfume?" He asked.

I dry laughed. "What?"

"You switched," he looked up thoughtfully. "Vanilla? You used to smell like lavender. Now it's vanilla."

"Nice to know you're taking notes on how I smell," I said. "But I need to go do what you pay me for."

"I pay you to keep me company." He said with a smirk.

"You pay me to do what you're supposed to be doing when you're working on these super bots." He looked at me and smiled. "So now I'm going to go do that job."

"Wait," he said before I could even turn. "May 29th is coming up soon."

I pretended to not know that that was his birthday, because I didn't want to bring up the fact that it was mine too. Coincidence.

"And what's that supposed to mean?" I asked, innocently.

"Did you forget your own birthday?" He asked. My eyes widened in shock.

"How did you-"

"We have the same birthday, giggles."

I rolled my eyes at the stupid nickname he gave me after he'd caught one of his employees flirting with me and all I could do was giggle in response to his advances.

"I really don't have time to talk over our shared birthday. I have to go."

He stood. He walked over to where I was and stood not even a foot away from me. Even though Tony was short, I was shorter. He towered over me, intimidatingly.

"Why are you trying to leave me so soon?" He tilted his head. "Am I that bad of company?"

"You're not company, you're my boss." I raised my eyebrows while he smirked. He was incredibly close me and I couldn't help but to feel nervous.

I could smell the cologne radiating off of his body. I could practically hear the arc reactor working to keep his heart steady. He looked down at me with those chocolate brown eyes that could melt gold.

"Go on a date with me." He said, disregarding what I'd said just before.

"A what?" I asked in shock.

"Yeah, I'll have Happy pick you up at 7. We'll have an early birthday dinner."

"I haven't even accepted, Mr. Stark."

"I told you a long time ago to stop calling me that." He turned back to the suit he was tinkering with. "And you didn't have to. The delight on your face told me everything I needed to know."

I stood there dumbfounded at the fact that I was actually about to go on a date with Tony Stark. And for our shared birthday.

I finally got to fully turn around to walk out of his workspace. But before I reached the stairs, of course he had to speak.

"Not even a goodbye kiss?" He asked.

"I don't kiss my boss." I said with a devious smirk. He just chuckled as I walked up the stairs, satisfied with myself.

Holy fuck. I'm going on a date with Tony Stark.
