"DAMON?" Harper called out as she entered the Salvatore house, having received a text from him to meet him there. She walked into the living room, where she saw Stefan, Damon, Elena and an unfamiliar woman sitting down, staring back up at her. "Who are you?" She asked, crossing her arms as she looked at the woman, confused as to why she didn't recognize her.

"This is Rose. She was at that old creepy house. She kept Elena hostage." Damon explained bluntly, causing Harper to raise her eyebrows, stepping down into the living room.

"Okay? And she's here because...?" Harper asked, watching as Rose stood from her seat, a curious look on her face.

"You're the elemental." Rose blurted, causing Harper to widen her eyes slightly, looking over at Damon, who nodded his head, as if to tell her it was okay.

"I guess so. But, I'm not the elemental. I'm just an elemental. There's others out there." Harper explained, causing Rose to shake her head, laughing quietly.

"Not really, actually. There are only a few lineages left." Rose replied truthfully, remembering the few she had met throughout her lifetime.

"Why does it matter, though?" Harper asked, not understanding why she was asked to be there in the first place.

"Your powers make you precious goods, Harper. There are people out there that would just love to get their hands on you." Damon cut in, crossing his arms as he looked over at Harper.

"Great. And I'm assuming we know who these people are?" Harper asked, walking past Rose and sitting beside Damon on the sofa, a wary look on her face.

"Well, yes, Rose has actually helped us with that information." Damon replied, glancing over at Rose, who had sat back down.

"You have to understand, though, I only know what I've picked up over the years. And, I don't know what's true and what's not true. That's the problem with all of this vampire crap. But, Klaus, I know is real." Rose rushed out, causing Harper to furrow her eyebrows slightly.

"Who is Klaus?" Harper asked, looking over at Rose before Damon cut in.

"Big, old, mighty vampire. Part of the original family of vampires. Legend." Damon replied, meeting Harper's gaze, almost immediately noticing the mix of confusion and concern in her eyes.

"Like Elijah." Elena cut in, almost as if she were confirming it. Harper thought back to the man from the house, whom Damon had later told her was named Elijah. She had no idea he was part of the original family, though.

"No, Elijah was the Easter bunny compared to Klaus. He's a foot soldier. Klaus is the real deal." Rose explained, standing up and putting her hands on her hips.
