AFTER LEARNING ABOUT BONNIE'S SECRET, Harper caught wind of the events that happened at Caroline's so-called "party" at the grill. A party she happened to be excluded from by no other than the host. She didn't mind that Caroline didn't bother inviting her, considering she would have rather stayed home and watched movies anyways, but it still kind of stung to know that Caroline truly just had it out for her.

Plus, the party in general didn't bother her, it was what happened at that party that freaked her out. According to Elena, Damon had killed another vampire, who just so happened to be Stefan's best friend.

Harper knew she shouldn't have been shocked by Damon's actions, considering everyone under the sun had been telling her to stay away from him. But, it was hard not to recall how he had helped her with her mini breakdown on Halloween. It was as if he were two different people, and she wasn't quite sure which character she should believe.

So, Harper decided that she should just let Elena deal with the vampire problems until she figured out how to deal with her problem. That problem being the fact that she still had no idea how to control her powers in certain situations.

When Harper entered her history class that morning, she sat down in her usual seat beside Bonnie and behind Elena. She could tell something was off with both of them, but she wasn't quite sure what. Not to mention, before she could even ask them what was wrong, the teacher interrupted.

"Good morning, everyone." He greeted the class, setting his stuff down on the desk before grabbing a piece of chalk. "Alaric Saltzman." He stated firmly, pointing at the chalkboard, where he had scribbled his name down just moments before. "It's a mouthful, I know. Doesn't exactly roll off the tongue. Saltzman is of German origin, my family immigrated her in 1755 to Texas. I, however, was born and raised in Boston. Now, the name Alaric belongs to a very dead great-grandfather I will never be able to thank enough. But, you can call me Rick. I'm your new history teacher." He explained, which caused Harper and Elena to exchange glances.

He didn't seem too bad, but Harper had an off feeling about him. He just seemed to be a little bit tense, which she figured was probably due to the fact it was his first day on the job.

At lunch that day, Bonnie explained to Harper and Elena why she was acting so weird. Apparently, she had a dream the night before about one of her dead ancestor's, who was practically haunting her because of the necklace she had been wearing.

"Then I ended up at the remains of old Fell's Church, before I woke up back in the woods." Bonnie finished explaining, a concerned look on her face at the events that had happened.

"And you always see your ancestor Emily?" Elena asked, trying to grasp the new information they had just received from Bonnie.

Bonnie nodded slightly, causing Elena to let out a small sigh, confused as to why this was happening.
