Chapter 37

Jimin's POV:

It's been almost 2 days since y/n hasn't woken up and her family's been worried sick about her. I lied telling them that she woke up a few minutes ago but went back to sleep telling me that she was extremely tired.
They had believed me once but I don't know how long I have to keep up with this lie they'll find out eventually.

Her brother was coming home tonight and things were gonna get complicated I could already tell.

Normally her parents would be going around preparing for her brother's arrival but right now they were only pacing around the house worried for their daughter that wasn't even theirs.

Maybe her punishment wasn't that vile and no matter what, God always decides to help the ones in need whether it's a human or not.

I held her hand, my eyes never leaving her face. Her fever was increasing but her face was still as relaxed as she was in a deep sleep. I just hoped nobody interferes with her memories coming back. Finally all these trials are coming to an end and I can finally have her back in my arms like I've always wanted to.

It hadn't been long and her brother showed up. Of course without sitting down or getting comfortable he first ran to see his sister who layed there almost lifeless, her breathing calm and slow

"Y/n...what happened to you" Soobin panicked seeing his sister

"Ahhh Soobin....wait-"

before I could hold him back he already had y/n in his embrace.

Y/n was burning up more than a normal sick human. It was obviously worrisome, but these were the side effects of the necklace.

Soobin flinched back feeling her forehead then going for her hands

"She's basically on fire! Why haven't you called the doctor yet?!" He yelled

"I-" I was cut off by Soobin who was being rash dealing with y/n's condition.

"Let me give her a cold bath" Soobin got up picking up y/n from the bed but I stopped him.

"Soobin..you need to relax. She'll be fine-" once again he cut me off.

Honestly it was getting a bit irritating now.

"How the fuck can you even say that Jimin?! Do you even hear yourself? She's basically dying! Did you even feel her temperature?! I don't even know why the fuck is she confined in her room in the first place when she should be in the hospital" he spat after trying too hard to hold in his anger

"Soobin!" Y/n's father came in behind basically yelling at his already mad son.

"We're all worried here, yelling at Jimin is not gonna make things better" he said trying to calm the situation down.

"Then why haven't you called the hospital yet? Is it because Jimin told you not to?!" He asked as his father stood there speechless cause it was true I did tell them not to but of course I knew I couldn't hold them off for too long.

"Soobin you need to relax, I'll take care of y/n" I said trying to hold his arm gently but he snatched it back staring at me with fiery eyes

"No! You need to get out of my way. Call the ambulance. I'm gonna give her a cold bath" he said brushing his shoulder against mine which was obviously on purpose.

But he was soon halted by his father.

"Soobin! Stop fighting... we're gonna call the hospital so you better behave yourself. We're all equally worried so don't start acting up right now!" Their father said as he took his phone out and went out of the room.
