Chapter 20

You were admitted in the hospital for a few days and the police officers came to question you again. Of course, the doctors and your parents including Jimin wanted them to close the case but it wasn't that easy to let go off an unexplainable and paranormal situation. You ended up telling them that whatever they predicted was right. That's the only believable explanation you could give them unless you wanted to spend your entire lifetime in jail but why would it be your fault when you were just defending yourself being turned into a demon and devouring on their flesh; yeah, no biggie. It's not everyday you see out of the ordinary things.

When you came back home you didn't talk much and your parents felt as if the incident that occurred affected you too deeply obviously it's not easy to forget what you went through. They believed what you said and they knew it was hard for you to handle the situation. Your mom tried to comfort you and told you that, that creature or beast was a help from God to make you escape from that situation and it saved you. Your mom wanted you to believe in the miracle in the story that you made up. You wondered what she would think of that so-called miracle if she found out the truth.

You tried your best to avoid Jimin whenever he would come to visit you. You didn't understand why you didn't wanna face him in this situation maybe because you didn't want him to hate you.

You were released from the hospital but you still spent a few days in your bed as everyone around you thought you still weren't fully recovered. Thankfully the media didn't involve in the case or it would've gotten worse. Jimin would visit you more frequently and sometimes brought Rachel along with him to check up on you but whenever he would visit you would act like you're asleep or just made up an excuse you didn't feel like talking. You never talked much but this impacted you on talking much less; in short you became quieter than usual and that worried Jimin but of course you couldn't avoid Jimin forever.

Today you woke up to get yourself some breakfast without your parents help. In fact, you never needed help it was like you were fully recovered but your parents still treated you like you were sick or at least weak. You did get skinnier but that didn't affect your healing process in fact you felt way better than before. Your mother saw that you finally got up to eat which means you were getting better so she decided to invite Jimin and Rachel over for dinner as a small celebration for your healing. Like that didn't made sense at all but she knew how much you adored Jimin and maybe meeting him would cheer up your mood. She wasn't fully wrong though you did feel bad about avoiding him and you so much wanted to talk to him and just pour out your feelings but Rachel is gonna be with him and you don't want to make things awkward. You weren't sure if both of you would be on good terms after that little "threesome date".

You tried to make excuses but your mother was persistent that she is going to invite them over tonight, you couldn't do much except for giving in.
