Chapter 16 (part 2)

 "a date?" you questioned your smile slowly fading away and being replaced by an unbelievable expression.

He walked closer to you touching your earring "yes a date" he whispered making you blush. He turned and opened the car door for you "now shall we my lady?" you nod your head stepping into his car. Your throat felt dry and you could feel your heart beating faster than usual

God, he hasn't done anything yet and he still manages to swipe you off your feet

You were nervous. You felt your hand being touched you looked down to see Jimin's hand on yours "is everything ok?"

You nod your head biting your lips. Jimin smiled and leaned in making your heart and breath react the same way "safety first" he put on your seat belt leaning back in his seat and wearing his own. You closed your eyes shut out of embarrassment but were quick to cover it up.

You were uncomfortable after that awkward encounter of you expecting something more from Jimin but he was sure to make you comfortable; he was your best friend and hence you had a lot to talk about.

You guys drove to a fancy and luxurious restaurant. You wouldn't have ever imagined of going there. You've always wanted to visit places like these but damn were they expensive. It seemed as if it was made for the royalties. Who would want to visit a place that gives out extremely expensive food when you can enjoy food from stalls and small shops. You mouth was left open seeing the place "Jimin don't tell me we're going there" you whispered

"we are.... why?" he chuckled looking at your reaction "it's a good thing we got dressed right?" he got out of the car handing the keys over to the valet parking. You followed him into the big restaurant and was left flabbergasted. You both were seated in the place where Jimin had already reserved. It was a four-person table you didn't think much about it continuing to look around the restaurant

"I'm kind of glad I reserved this place you seem to like it a lot" Jimin said focusing his eyes on you and only you

"mhmm" you replied "I like it" you hopped a little in your seat making Jimin lose a giggle

You both kept on talking and bringing up topics back and forth while the whole time you wanted to bring up your hidden confession for him that you had all these years. You wanted to know how he felt, this was a date after all and you have your hopes high how Jimin treats you. All those times when he made it clear that you're more important to him than anyone else. He was nice to you and only talked to you when he didn't want anyone. His loneliness was completed with you and you thought of bringing it up when the time was right, I need him to know; that I feel different about him since the day I went to surprise him in Seoul, that I feel different with him. When the air got suddenly quiet leaving both of you in awkward silence you found that as your que.

"umm Jimin I need to tell you something...."

"Y/n I need to tell you something"

You both spoke at the same time

"what is it?" Jimin said wanting to hear your say first

"no no it's ok you go ahead, what do you wanna tell me?" you said backing out...yep you were being a coward. It would've been easier if you just said it rather than holding it in.

"um...y/n the reason why I brought you here is....." your heart was beating really fast but you tried your best to remain calm if he's gonna confess to you right here and now maybe you would burst out crying. You were already getting very eager.
