It had been a few days since you quit your job and a few days since some of the employees questioned you about the reason for you resigning abruptly. Most of them thought it was because of Kai's sudden death but luckily you weren't suspected as few of the employees resigned due to the same reason.

On the other hand you gave the excuse of other future plans and continuing your studies further. Well it wasn't a complete lie as you brother was coming back from America to convince your parents and something inside you tells that this time it's gonna work and your parents are gonna accept the reason for you all to move abroad.
But what difference would it make if you're still in the same situation going abroad is just gonna make things worse but at least you'll be away from this place where everyone could be suspecting you.

Rumours floated that you and Kai were hooking up which again wasn't just a rumour but that you quitting your job was for his reasons. The murder even seems suspicious and why all of a sudden you would want to quit when he was killed. Some said that it was because you were mourning his death, considering how close you both were while some would eye you suspiciously that maybe you caused his death which of course shook you to the core but being away from work for a few days brought down the town talk and you hoped that the incident that you caused could be forgotten by people as well.

Your mother was preparing things for your brother who was soon going to arrive this weekend while you were cleaning his room and making his bed since you've been using it as a store room for yourself. You promised your mom to go grocery shopping with her to buy the ingredients she wanted to cook for his favourite dishes.

Cleaning the study table your eyes landed on the photo frame of you, your brother and Jimin. How long has it been since you talked to him. You missed him and weren't proud of how things ended up between you two. You never even give him a proper farewell. Maybe if you would've been just honest with your feelings it wouldn't be this bad. A huge lump formed in your throat as you tried your best not to tear up at the selfish behaviour you put up in front of him just because you were jealous of him going out with a woman who was so much better than you. You're a hypocrite for always putting up a front of being happy when you're just shattered in pieces inside and every single minute you start to hate yourself more. A simple apology would suffice, but your ego was bigger which kept you from bowing in front of the other person...what made you like that?
