Chapter 10 (part 2)

You just shook off your thoughts and went to take your remaining classes

but

no luck

You couldn't concentrate on anything that was being taught in the class as your mind wandered off to what Jimin and May might be talking about. You couldn't help but be extremely annoyed how Jimin was talking to her in the class and how both of them were looking at each other with flirty eyes.

You kept on staring at the empty space until your eyes met the clock and you couldn't help but count every second passing by and the more you waited the more eternity it seemed like.

As soon as both of your classes were over you rushed to the staircase that reached the roof top but you halted the second it hit you that it's been almost more than an hour and it's not likely that they still might be up there. You swiftly turned around and walked down the hall to reach the parking lot. You were somehow bummed but were still anticipating that Jimin might answer you. When you reached out you saw some of the students and the teachers gathered around Jimin and of course Jimin being the happy go lucky person he was; was making everyone have a good time. You saw most of the students were girls but heck you didn't care at the moment Jimin saw you and excused himself from the crowd and made his way to the car, he unlocked the car as you made your way closer to him. You clearly had the pissed look on your face as soon as he opened the car door of his driver seat you slammed it shut. You were mad and you wanted him to see it. You hated how he always made things work his way....without your consent. Jimin gave you a questionable look and turning to face you completely.

"What the heck did you talk about to May?"

"Why do you care?" you were clearly getting more mad at his response

"listen it's not that important so it shouldn't matter to you" Jimin completed his sentence and patted your shoulder. You pushed back his hand and folded your arms

"listen I wouldn't care if you date or want to confess your love to anyone or whatever but it matters to me if it's May......and why the heck would you compliment her after all you saw what she did" you spit out everything that you thought you would hide from him but your anger got the best of you. Jimin kept on staring at you confused and baffled but soon had a playful smirk on his face

"Are you jealous?" he smiled widely

"What?-no i'm just-ugh" you stomped back to the passenger's seat and jerked the car door open to sit in and slammed the door shut, but not too aggressively you didn't want Jimin to be mad at you for breaking his door. Jimin tried to bite back his laugh and opened the door to his side and sat in. He gave your angry figure a glance and shook his head while chuckling

"Are you seriously going to keep that act up until we reach home?" You kept on looking out and breathing heavily "look at me (y/n)"

He tried to poke at you but you slapped his hand again and this time Jimin laughed out loud "wow you're that mad" he looked at you but you turned your face away more so he couldn't get a glimpse of your furious face. You were sick of him acting this way so you just told him straight away that you'll take the bus but Jimin locked the doors. You gave him an annoyed look but he grabbed your wrist to calm you down

"ok hey listen I just had a word with her, she or any of her friends are not gonna bother you again. I'm sure of that and if they do I'll make sure you don't even get to see a glimpse of her in the country. Ok? so just stop being jealous" he looked at you and he did seem genuine. Your expressions softened a bit but now you were more than embarrassed.

Was Jimin literally pampering you again and you were all mad.....for what?

"I'm not jealous..." you said out loud "....but what did you say to her that she wouldn't-" you continued on your sentence being curious but was cut off by Jimin

"-just don't worry ok and focus on your studies for now" he smiled while rubbing your wrist one last time before he turned on the engine.

If all what he said is true, you're gonna lock your room until the next morning, but you didn't want Jimin to know that. You just nodded your head slightly looking down at his hand which held your wrist. and yet again the car ride back home was awkward. well at least for you it was; Jimin kept on laughing and teasing you about how you acted and were all furious over him.

And yes the next day you didn't even see a sign of may and her friends or underlings didn't even spare a single glance at you. The next few days until your exams you were at peace but too much peace that it bothered you. You really were questioning what Jimin said to make them like this but Jimin being Jimin... 

Never told you.

Jimin had his ways of dealing with things and seeing you at your worse condition he couldn't help but step in. He thought that maybe you could stand up for yourself but you literally were a weakling. He had an extra advantage of being the most favorable student in his school. The teachers allowed him to take the class without any further details and now that Jimin gained fame. He was the star of the school and people loved to hang out with him even the ones who didn't like him in the first place.

He simply threatened may that he would get her expelled from school if she continued acting this way and can easily make her father's company down to drain as his company was in collaboration with Jimin's company and it wouldn't take long to drop the profits. He made clear to her that actions like this could end her up in jail and he wasn't going to hesitate to take the step. He just enjoyed saying one thing to her that caused her to shudder

"The world outside is scary May, believe me you wouldn't wanna see the most of it" he made sure to sound extra creepy and scary whispering it in her ear

Jimin would sometimes laugh out of nowhere thinking about it and you low key get creeped out whenever it happens.

Hence months passed your exams were done and you were finally graduating.

   AFTER GRADUATION

Jimin and his family came over to your place to celebrate your graduation. Your brother who had settled abroad came too. It was a happy moment. You all went out to have dinner and have a drink and you couldn't help but thank Jimin enough to be there with you till the very big day. Of course you didn't wanna tell your parents about the incidents arriving within those months as it had already been embarrassing for you enough as your mother did notice the bruise on your head and you obviously lied to her that a ball hit you hard on your head leaving a mark. And being a mother she started babying you. She would sometimes baby you in front of Jimin and that literally killed you, like Jimin doesn't already treat you as a kid enough. Jimin was leaving the next day and so his and your parents thought it would be a good outing as it would cover both the events. Your graduation and Jimin's farewell.

You were all eating and having a great time laughing away and having great conversations your brother and Jimin were catching upon a lot of stuff.

For the first time you felt as an adult...maybe because you were drinking along with the elders and were talking about job opportunities and higher studies and all.

You felt a slight twinge in your head. Maybe you were drinking too much and you had to slow down a bit. You ignored the pain and continued on with conversations taking place on the table. But instead the pain kept on growing. You excused yourself to go to the bathroom. When you reached there you washed your face with cold water and stared at your reflection; long enough to notice blood dripping from your nose. you were a slight confused and shocked to see that you quickly took tissue papers and wiped your nose after washing the blood and kept your head up.

You straightened yourself and breathed through your mouth. Once the nose bleeding stopped you wiped your nose for confirmation and went out again.

You happily joined the conversation leaving about the thought of what just came...
