Chapter 36

Jimin was drenched in sweat as he continued on with his training. His mind focused and alert with the holograms of knights coming his way
He teleported only to come behind the knight and slash it making it disappear.

"You've been getting better at controlling your powers recently" Matt smiled applauding at Jimin's performance.

"Yeah..." Jimin breathed out

"I've never doubted your abilities in the first place I knew you would get there" Matt further cheered Jimin who was still breathing heavy bending down trying to catch his breath as sweat drips down his entire face.

Jimin had been training for 3 hours straight without any breaks and for all he knew he wanted his stamina to grow more. This wasn't enough to be the son of the formal general of Edavor.

"Okay" Jimin stood up sighing looking at his energetic friend

"Water?" He asked holding out the water bottle

"Thanks" Jimin accepted drinking almost half of the water bottle in one go

"So...what do we do next? Do you wanna train in the fire forest" Matt asked excited jumping in front of Jimin

"Nah man I'm burned up I'm done for the day" Jimin exhaled, exhausted.

"Well...you're no fun" Matt scoffed folding his arms

"Says the person who hasn't done shit the whole day" Jimin tossed the water bottle towards him wiping off his sweat with the towel he got out from his bagpack

"Hey now! I was supporting you...do you know how hard that is itself?!" Matt tried to defend himself only to make Jimin break into a smile.

Jimin shook his head while grinning wiping his face with the towel Matt held out for him.

"Are you having a good time with the crown prince?" Ianeira's father asked her as he sat himself for lunch

"I am" she answered

"Well don't get too involved with him. You're aware what this marriage is meant to be" he said placing the napkin on his lap going for the wine glass

"Falling in love will do you no favour just focus on the task" he says taking the sip of his wine

"Yes father" Ianeira responds obediently when she was in rage from the inside

"Good." Her father spoke up

"You should go visit him at his Palace before the engagement takes place. He did sent an invitation for you." He looks up at her daughter who has her head hanging low and just as she's about to leave he stops her once again

"And Ianeira..."

"Try not to cause much problems. I want the wedding ceremony to go smoothly" he warns one last time allowing her to dismiss herself.

She silently walked away clenching her jaw due to anger. She hated how controlling her father had become and she couldn't help but give in
