Chapter 4

NEXT DAY

You were finally at the airport bidding departing Jimin goodbye for the last time now for sure. You still didn't know when he'll come back but he told you and your family that he'd keep in touch.

You being the awkward person you are stood at a distance while Jimin was hugging and bidding each one of his family members goodbye along with some of his friends that came to surprise him at the airport as well. You didn't know why but you felt weird to walk up to him in the middle of a lot of people to give him farewell. But you also wanted to do it so badly before he's gone and you regret your decision.

But being you; you didn't. Jimin was talking to your parents and your brother and laughing along with his parents as well. He stopped to find something and well, that something was you. His gaze stopped where you were standing a good five steps away from all the others. He walked up to you and that was the last thing you needed; him getting closer to you because you knew you'd break down and you did but you kept your mouth shut and tried your hardest to hold in your stupid tears.

You didn't wanna show him how weak you are just because he was leaving and he finally got the opportunity to follow his dream...you were low-key jealous. But more sad because only he knew how weird you are and what makes you comfortable or not. He knew you better than your own brother and you rarely talked to your own parents about your problems in short, he was your everything and your everything was leaving.

He stood there in front of you just staring at you blankly while you stared back with a try hard poker face. Without saying a word he opened his hands wide for you to give him a hug but you just stood there, your arms folded declining his offer just by your body language. Jimin waited for a while and when you still didn't budge he grabbed you by your arm and brought you close to his chest hugging you tightly. His scent made you feel more emotional than you already were and you ended up giving in hugging him back, your hands slowly tracing his back.

Jimin knew you were just trying to be strong and holding your emotions in from others. He knew you were growing up and that's what was making you feel more awkward but he didn't give a damn, you were his best friend, his sister and if anything at all he just wanted to be able to protect you forever. But he wouldn't be here for that anymore and he knew that you needed to be stronger in this time period. No matter how you thought, he was still worried about you so he gave the responsibility to his trustworthy friends to look after you after he's gone. Jimin heard a little sniff from you and that made him smile. No matter how strong or uncaring you would act you were still the same loveable, adoring, vulnerable, weak girl he came to fall in love with who used to run in her diapers.

" I'll really miss you (y/n), don't you dare forget about calling me every single day got it? And don't dare to have a boyfriend, you're still too young" you hit his back while both of you were still hugging each other. He caressed your head and continued "I won't be here to watch you anymore so try to have a good time without me but not too good, I'm scared you'll forget me when I'll come back" he laughed slightly

"the same goes for you" your voice was muffled by your sobs and his tight hug so he didn't understand what you said. But you turned your face and let your cheek rest on his chest while you repeated what you said "the same goes for you, I swear I'll fly there to murder you if you forget about me and become a playboy" Jimin ended up laughing at your threat and you smiled too. You finally had the courage to look up at him. He wiped your tears that remained and were continuously flowing out your eyes, you could see his eyes glistening too but Jimin was stronger; but at the same time he wasn't afraid of showing his true emotions "I love you" he said

"I love you too, please take care of yourself and be safe" you sniffed

"you too" he said while caressing your cheek and still wiping your tears that had finally come to a stop. Both of you were in such a deep moment that you didn't realize that both of your families had their attention on both of you who were still in each other's arms.

"well if you two besties are done with your love confessions, may we interfere that you need to check in" Jimin's dad let out amused

"alright, alright I'm coming. You don't have to be jealous about it right?" he winked at you while walking to his parents with the passport in his hands you were right behind him but stopped beside your mother and hugged her while she rubbed your back.

You saw Jimin going in to the doors you saw him until you could see his back fading away in the crowd. He waved back one last time while giving the sweetest smile. Without realizing you broke down in tears again and your mother didn't stop rubbing your back.
