Chapter 39

(Y/n)'s p.o.v

My eyes widen before I wiped at what I thought was hot tears- but see red on my hand "I-I... don't know" I answer out softly. Hiro pulls me to my feet saying "should we get you to a doctor??" "And tell them what?" I ask as I continue wiping off the blood. "That I just got silent before floating up, falling and crying blood?!" I ask with a bit of sarcasm. Hiro lifts his hands up in defense saying "I thought you said this town knew about weirdness." "They do, but choose to ignore it to remain happy" a voice I know so well says from behind a tree.

Hiro and I turn and see Wendy as she rides up to us on her bike, I smile and wave softly at her saying "hey, Wend-ay!!" She smiles at me. "Fox!! It's been too long" Wendy says and messed up my hair, so I playfully roll my eyes and fix it. Hiro then waves saying "hi, I'm Hiro - Hiro Hamada" Wendy playfully scoffs at this and stands in front of Hiro. He took a small step back and looks at Wendy confused as she says "man, he acts more dorky than Dipper. How is he by the way?? Is he back too?!" I smile and nod my head "yeah, he's back too."

Wendy then holds her hand out for Hiro saying "nice to meet you, Hiro - I'm Wendy" Hiro nods and they shake hands as he says "I've heard a bit about you." Once they stopped shaking hands a swift wind went by behind me, so I turn around as my eyes widen. "You good, (Y/n)??" Wendy asks, so I nod saying "yeah, let's just say Gravity Falls' weirdness is already hitting me." Hiro hugged himself a bit saying "yeah, I'm not really used to this weirdness" Wendy chuckles saying "yet." With that we're walking back to the shack while talking a bit, Hiro stuck by my side as we walked though.

Once the shack was in sight I smile big and run in saying "I'm back!!" A gasp comes from a different room along with a few crashing sounds. I flinch at that and go to check it out when I see Soos and Melody now covered in Stan-bobble-heads. Soos smiles big at me saying "oh my gosh, the twins said you were back- but I didn't think it could be true, dawg. (Y/n)!!!" He picked me up and hugged me tight, so I laugh a little as I pat his shoulder saying "good to see you too, Soos." Back on my own feet I hear someone walking this way and see the Grunkles smiling as they walk in. "Kid!!" Stan yells out and messed up my hair, so I laugh and push his hand away saying "you guys really like messing with my hair."

Mabel walks in with a Pitt-Cola saying "the gang you were with are at your house now, (Y/n) - they were settling in before coming back." Ford looks at me confused "'gang'??" "I have another group of close friends that are basically family. It's amazing!" I explain happily, but Hiro stands by my side saying "yeah, but I didn't know this place was really weird." Stan chuckles saying "you have a lot to learn, kid" "you mean like my girlfriend-" "'girlfriend'?!" Soos, Wendy and the Grunkles ask shocked. I nervously laugh saying "yeah, Dipper stomped on my heart, so I found someone that I can trust with what remains."

Wendy smiles at this saying "glad you found another great guy, (Y/n) - from what I can tell at least" Hiro nods, but I smile softly at the group. "I was meaning to say that, weird like my girlfriend randomly stops running and-" "and spaced out. Y-Yeah" I nervously lie and chuckle afterwards, the group looks at me skeptically, but I hug myself. Before I got asked to explain my mom walks in while talking with Aunt Cass and the group is behind them. "And this is the Mystery Shack!" "There is so many Health Code Violations" Wasabi says after my mom.

I laugh a little at this, but Stan says "if you call the cops, you'll regret it" then he cracks his knuckles as Ford softly facepalms. Wasabi narrows his eyes at Stan as Tadashi chuckles softly saying "okay, so now what?" "I say we just talk and hang out. There's a lot of us and I know that a lot of you can get along" I say and grab Hiro's hand. Pulling him I got him to the twins' room and see Dipper there, so I shake my head and pull Hiro out the window. "I don't know what's happening!" Hiro yells out to Dipper as I get him to mine and Wendy's spot on here.

Hiro looks at me confused, but now we're seeing the sun set from up here... I sit down and look back down at the ground. "(Y/n), why did you drag me up here??" Hiro asks as he sits by me, so I sigh and say "don't.. tell anyone what happened." "Why not?? These guys could help you, you told us that this family is the best with weirdness." "Because I don't even know what's happening, okay?!??" I ask while looking at Hiro worried. "I think when I was floating I somehow mentally went into this demon realm that Bill comes from."

Grasping Hiro's hand softly I say "all I know is they kind of like me because of dealing with Bill, but I came back when you yelled my name. Next thing I know is you're kind of holding me and asking about the blood tears and... that's all I got." Hiro was looking at me with wide eyes, but he holds both of my hands in his saying "(Y/n), we have to at least tell someone." "No! I don't want anyone finding out-" "too late" Dipper interrupts me, so we look back with wide eyes. Dipper is standing right there as he walks towards us and looks down at the ground before softly scoffing.

"(Y/n), you can't just hide something like this!!" Dipper says and slightly pushing me, so I look at him with a bit of glossy eyes. Hiro softly glares at Dipper saying "maybe she just didn't want you guys to worry!! Maybe we can figure this out on our own." "Ha!! A newbie to the weirdness and someone who's going through something out of their control? Yeah, no. You need help, and I think I'm one of the only people you can trust" "yeah, but 'trust no one', remember??" I ask. Dipper chuckles before saying "yeah, but we also realized that one summer that you can trust your family and closest friends."
